Such a great fundamental strategy that is so important to consider - the chase, depth & value of singles. Many would agree that mid-late sh/sh sets (chilling reign - silver tempest) have so many green lights for future growth. Crown zenith being the absolute sleeper. I've probably put a bit more than I should of into these sets this year but it just has everything going for them. Wish I had a time machine to see what these do in 2026 onward

Great video again! As a Hedge Fund Manager my friends are always asking for what “gems” do i see in the market. I always tell them the same thing and it applies so well to TCG collecting. Compare the data and look for imbalances. XY Evolutions for example. Packs are going for 25-30 USD. The Mewtwo EX as a PSA 10 was selling for 25 USD a month ago. Either the packs are over valued or the cards are undervalued or a bit of both. The packs havent changed and the Mewtwo just sold for 35 USD. +40% The gems are in the imbalances. Keep up the great work!

I’m just getting into again, and I’ve pulled some amazing modern cards, but this video opened my eyes… I was just focusing on chase cards obviously for value but it’s fun, and I’ve been going for the Japanese sets because I do believe in the Japanese cards more than American, but I think I do need to buy some popular English booster boxes just to sit on

I am more of a japanese card collector but given how available english is in the states i find myself at looking to buy and hold sets as they get older. I agree that lost origin is a great set. I think it has a good balance of hits vs hit rate. They are becoming harder to find in retail stores to make way for S&V sets. Another english set in my opinion will be crown zenith. Yeah the market is flodded with it now due to the recent reprint but with the prices getting very low for this it may be a great time (2024) to pick up the set to hold for a while. On japanese side. Vstar universe is out of print and will certainly drive a higher price tag. And then there is 151. Which is such a short printed set its going to be very good for a long time in my opinion.

Another great video! Lost origin main set isn't deep but the trainer gallery set is very deep. 4 pikas, charizard, snorlax, Gengar, mew, arcanine are all in the TG

Unified minds actually gained 71% so even better than you think and yea it was only a matter of time before that one went nuts as well. Such a great set.

I wanted to ask for your opinion of 2 things: Right now, the Japanese 151 set is going for £170 which its the lowest its been, would now be a good time to buy them or do you feel they could go lower? I tempted to say no as the demand for them is still extreme but I believe they are still printing them. My second is regarding the Japanese classic collection box which Retails at £400, I have no idea how many of these they're going to make and if the price will eventually start to come down due to oversupply, do you think this is a possibility or to pick one up now as they could be short printed and rise quickly? Thanks again!

Always appreciate the content. I think the way you’re calculating the percent gains is a bit unconventional. Shouldn’t you be calculating as a percentage of the initial investment and not as a percentage of the current price? At a glance, it seemed like you were doing it as a percentage of the final price. Just a thought! I wonder if that change would reorder any of your sets.

Hey PokeOz, since you also live outside the US I wanted to ask how you actually manage to get sealed TCG products I would like to start collecting and I have the hardest time finding decent to good prices for sealed products, that can be shipped internationally (in my case Germany) However, I am not looking for a large scale distributor, just a way to buy cards for me personally. Keep up the great content

If you buy and the investment is successful how do you choose when to sell?

How come the psa10 of chase cards of the 3 sets dropped in price but the price of sealed box increase? As people buy products just want to get the chase cards of the set, right?

I think both evolving skies and unified minds are selling again from PC , perhaps its reprints
