I think it’s gonna be a good thing. That tank was always a good inspiration to me, but I think the peninsula is rock and rollin now. Keep going on the podcasts. They are the best podcasts in the hobby at the moment in my opinion!

I need to simplify things and as I mentioned in the video the sump is too small for my current system volume.

It is sad to see the 187 go away. This tank was a huge inspiration to me. I followed this build from the beginning. Since there are LPS in that tank will you be selling these since the peninsula is sps dominant? I know you are not really gonna sell corals in the future but will you have another live sale to try to get rid of some of the frags quickly?

I appreciate that. I may sell some of the LPS but the priority at this point is moving out SPS.

First the closing down of your online store and now this. Forgive me if I’m wrong, but it seems like you’re almost semi retiring from the hobby, going back to the reason why most common everyday reefers get into the hobby for, to enjoy the simplicity and beauty of owning and maintaining a reef tank.

Nah, no semi-retiring from the hobby. Just simplifying things in terms of the number of tanks to take care of and eliminating the shipment of corals, which has become very expensive and less reliable. In the future I may do a couple of frag swaps a year to sell frags.
