Cromwell V (RP-3) is a medium premium tank in online game War Thunder. It's almost identical to Cromwell V in main tech tree, just has four RP-3 rockets , very similar to those that are used on british aircraft.

As someone who has frequently used the Cromwell RP-3, the general strategy is to just spend a lot of time learning when to slam the brakes. The Cromwell can pick up incredible speed, so hitting the brakes at speeds greater than 40kph can almost guarantee that the rocket flies straight forward, or sometimes even a bit downwards. Even if it doesn't penetrate, the explosion is usually enough to knock off a barrel, or a track. Though it's unreliable, it's still a ton of fun!

Strangely I played british vehicles a lot in arcade and it is one of my favorite nation. Even with the solid AP shells i had fun and even a good win rate and K/D ratio. I feel they just have a particular gameplay, a defensive one for most of them. And i've improved a lot by planing them, learning the hard way the position of every crewman and amunition in all the vehicles i had to face. The diference between stock and maxed vehicle is huge tho so i can understand that some BR are awful to play at first. Nice video ! thank you for your work !

I have the Cromwell RP-3, I use the rockets to scare the enemy and keep them in cover. I find them useful to hit buildings near an enemy near cover and then flank them well scared. I hardly ever get a kill with the rockets, but I find them useful.

i find it hilarious that you can remove all German heavy tanks (maybe except Maus) with these rockets. Hell, you can even take it to top tier for funnies. This tank is a hidden gem.
