As a student of Rebecca Scofield, this is just awful. Rebecca is a phenomenal professor and an even better person. She has brought it up in class a few times and it's just heartbreaking.
And I’m not a student of hers, however I grew up in the panhandle of Idaho. I vaguely knew some of the murder victims by going to the same highschool, their families from a few mutual events in the past, and knew people who worked to get the real killer- and it constantly is disgusting to me that people who hear I’m from the area try to talk to me about the murders like it’s something cool. I see people make tik-toks pretending to talk to the dead victims and someone say it is the most eventful thing to happen is Idaho. It’s disgusting and sad. This isn’t want I want people thinking about when they think of my home state. And it’s heart retching. The amount of disrespect our nation’s people has shown about this case is beyond disappointing

I feel like tiktok "detectives" just genuinely believe that they have some weird form of sherlock like skills when in reality they couldn't solve who took their chips from the pantry
What's scary is when she goes to court and gets laughed out of it she's still going to believe everyone on that jury and behind that bench just has their blinders on to her true reality... she needs help or a cell or both.
At this point, she's going to get a cell because she refuses to stop. She's giving Schofield all the evidence she needs to win the defamation case. In my opinion, the best thing that could happen here is that she gets banned from Tiktok for spreading misinformation. She never will be right. She has been proven to be wrong about everything she has said. My heart goes out to the victims of this tragedy and their families as well as Schofield. However, I have no sympathy for this self-proclaimed "psychic detective".
She need a reality check, she is not "crazy" she just got too into the little game of no one knocking out of her, really, i you treat her like crazy she wont change, just tell her "shut the f up, stop, delete tiktok go do something and stop chasing "uniqueness/special/important" status
As a current U of I student, it has been incredibly weird having an event less than a mile away from me be covered by my favorite RU-vidrs. I knew it was a unique homicide but at the start I had no idea it was going to be so huge. I did not know the victims personally, but I know many people who did. I hope this raises awareness of the dangers that any college campus can possess. Stay safe wherever you are, no place is "too rural" for an event like this.
You're absolutely right. No one thinks it'll be them till something crazy pops off. If you can't have a firearm with you at all times, tazers and stunguns are very effective and super affordable. It's our responsibility to defend ourselves.
So check this out. I’m a tattoo artist in CDA. I tattooed a ghost on someone who claimed to be best friends with Zana. Then he proceeded to tell me he hasn’t hung out with her since they were 10 years old. He also told me the suspect killed himself in jail this morning. That kid was a crackhead
"It's ok to be wrong" is a phrase I literally teach at the elementary school everyday...imagine having to explain it to grown ass people everytime you have a discussion. Glad individuals with common sense like Charlie still exist, even if very rare.
To be fair it is drilled into our skulls from an early age in the american school system, that being wrong is bad. That people look down on you or punish you for being wrong. Not saying this to defend her, just saying that our school system is so beyond fucked up. Also i praise you for teaching that, being wrong should be a chance to learn and admit you were wrong.

Charlie, I did a super legit tarot card reading based on your theory that Ashley is actually the murderer. For someone who has no connection to this case, she sure is talking about it...A LOT. Seems like she's trying to throw us off her trail. The tarot cards came back, and I pulled the MURDERER card when thinking of Ashley committing this crime. So your hunch was correct. We need to start making tiktoks about this ASAP! You should see if you have any psychic abilities with a crazy correct hunch like that. 🤔 Good job on solving the case. You should expect a key to the city in 7-12 business days as a reward.
I did a reading of my own and pulled the seven of swords card. As you all know, seven of swords = betrayal, which means that this super reliable tiktok detective is LYING to us... and also, you know, seven swords. She definitely pulled off the crime by using seven swords as murder weapons. Your honor, I rest my case
That's not fair, I'm a millionaire in GTA. You have any idea how many hours my PS4 idled with L3R3 tied together? I'll have you know it was at least several.

she's talking about how feminine energy is about being receptive but she's been so stubborn i wouldn't be surprised if her soul was shaped like liver king
One of my favorite things she's said was along the lines of "If they had all this evidence why didn't they release it sooner?" It's not uncommon for them to not release all details or all they know, especially if they haven't identified a suspect or haven't questioned them yet. Has she never seen an interrogation recording where they let the suspect go on about everything before telling them "btw, we have your dna at the crime scene". It gives them an upper hand during questioning and can draw the suspect into a false sense of security thinking they didn't find anything.
Not to mention the fact that sometimes they keep things hidden in order to sniff out the culprit. Someone who knows a lot of details that were never released to the public is suspicious at best.
It shows the level of delusion and narcisissm to make a highly critical and complex case about herself. She and her "information" couldn't be more irrelevant to ANYTHING and ANYONE. Noone cares except other mentally ill people who follow her of which 90% are hate-watchers.
Well, its not for the false sense of security, it is to get their potential alibi. There can be many good reasons why someone's DNA is at a crime scene, there can be many good reasons why the murder weapon had their fingerprints on it. Heck, there are even reasons where both the murder weapon has finger prints of the suspect, the crime scene looking like a rape having escalated to murder and the suspect's genetic material found on the victim, but the suspect being innocent. They could have been into heavy bondage and sadomasochism to the point of the dominating party leaving the house for an actual day, leaving their extremely submissive partner tied to the bed. But the actual murder happening 3 hours later. Not really information you'd be sharing, especially if you dont know your partner is dead. It's not really relevant information untill later.
“When the truth comes out, STAND ON what you said. Don’t delete it!” Is another way to say ‘When someone tells you what really happened, lie to yourself and keep on doing that!’
Also kept seeing articles about that girl who went on a tinder date with the Idaho murderer and she won’t stfu about it. People making spectacles out of these poor kids having their lives taken from them is embarrassing. These people romanticize true crime and act like they’re smarter than the detectives/law enforcement who were handling this. They forget that these were real people with families and futures that were taken away from them. It’s all just incredibly sad.
Reminds me of Gabby out here around Yellowstone. All the “psychics” crawled out of the wood work, telling people she was still alive because the spirit world told them 🙄
It’s the problem with media in gents this day and age, we always focus so much attention on the murderer and it romanticizes it so much it’s awful and makes it so easy for other people to try to jump on the bandwagon and exploit the situation.
I got to give it up for the teacher for not just blasting this person and roasting them on social media, she actually did the mature thing and went to the authorities.

I'm an avid virtue signaller and Im very passionate about a lot of things that I know very little about. I always try do what is right but I'm not always right.
the “very passionate about things i know very little about” is something i’d say i experience frequently, though i’ve gotten better about this and try to ask people questions before i speak myself
What Charlie said about people not being able to admit they're wrong is dead on. It's more than just them being wrong, so many people live pretty boring, mundane lives but then they find this thing that's like "oh my god, everyone else is wrong and I'm the main character" so regardless of how much proof they're given that whatever they believe in is wrong they are completely unwilling to let go of what they view as the most interesting part of their life (or even identity).
This. There’s an entire psychology about this, that I don’t hear people talking about. It really is a coping mechanism for mental illness, probably undiagnosed trauma/narcissism, etc.

ALL of the "tiktok detectives" need to apologize for harassing innocent people in this case. Not a single one of them was correct and they kept blaming the roomates, boyfriends, their ex's etc...
I think this goes a lot deeper than this lady just being a “know-it-all”. She truly believes every word she is and has been saying. You can tell by the way she speaks. She needs some serious mental health intervention. It’s really scary that she has kids and is just running wild with her delusions. I hope someone close to her that cares about her can step in and get her some help. 💔
Yeah, its very depressing to see how her mental illness has affected her. My dad used to have schizophrenia when he was my age, i think she might have it too... He told me he would always think the world was plotting against him, surveilance him, and even in his own apartment he would check for cameras.. He would often believe he knew things others didnt, he would think they could read his mind, and that he could read theirs and such... absolutely horrifying and terrible.
It's common with professional liars (con artists, cult leaders, many psychics ect.) They say something often enough they actually begin to believe it. It's partially why functioning profitable cults can go so insane.
Just seeing the words “Tik Tok” and “detective” in the same sentence is just absolutely insane in itself, but calling yourself as a Tik Tok detective influencer and falsely accusing people of murder makes the word insane look normal.
As a tarot reader, this is disgusting. This is not how tarot works and it gives the art a bad name. Totally agree with you that people are just so afraid of being wrong. It's exhausting.
Ashley has become delusional from watching too many crime dramas, she thinks of herself as the main protagonist who uses her "special powers" to aid the police in solving murder cases.
Or she knows that she's just bullshitting and has some beef with Rebecca, and plans to use it as a "Haha funny joke" defense when they drag her to the court
Ah, the classic case of Schrodinger's Douchebag. Say something and wait for people to react to decide whether to act like it was a joke or stick with it, that's how I imagine this case going.
@Bill Clinton Enjoyer but there's no evidence against Tate. Innocent until proven guilty. Tate was correct when he said the 3 steps to silencing someone society doesn't agree with. 1) cancel them (he got cancelled). 2) jail (they're holding him currently). 3) they kill you (he was attacked and hospitalised while being held - which shouldn't happen but the guards did nothing)
I can't imagine losing a family member in a tragic way. Then while I'm grieving and waiting for the detectives to do their job, you have 100 wannabe detectives inviting themselves into your family's business. Spreading around private information about your loved one's life because they are so delusional that they think they are actually part of the case.
I am a student at Washington State University, the school where Bryan Kohberger went to. We are disgusted that this guy was on our campus. My roommate literally had the guy as his TA last semester. As a community we are so very sorry that this guy came from us. Ashley not even caring that she is ruining the life of Rebecca just makes me sad that she doesn’t even acknowledge that she is in the wrong.
Its horrifying to think of someone like him attending the same place as you, I honestly have no idea how despite everything she's still trying to paint Rebecca as the killer. You don't just accuse someone of murder, that's an accusation that can stay with and ruin the rest of someone's life, theres a reason people who work with law will only do so if they have strong enough evidence to tie the suspect to. Not to mention that tarot isn't even meant to be used this way. She's making a mockery of something that people genuinely believe in by using it as such.
You say anything enough times, you'll start to believe it. You see it all the time now with celebrities and public figures falling into dumbass conspiracies, sometimes ones they used to joke about
"Where were you on the night of the murders" obviously she was writing on wattpad when she felt a great disturbance in the force as if 4 voices cried out and were suddenly silenced, and she immediately jumped to do her duty
I just kinda imagine she interprets those moments when your brain clicks on a theory, as psychic visions, like the moment you suddenly think you've figured out a story, and you can just imagine how your solution would fit
"The school didnt say EVERY part of my fanfic was false, so CLEARLY she's a murderer" - It would be impressive how stupid that was if it wasnt so concerning how delusion it is
To be honest, I could say my parents ran some sort of shady black market business on the dark web and Tiktok would still believe me. Crazy how much people will eat information on that platform.
Hey that talking Pikachu at least had (Movie spoilers, probably game spoilers too even though the game ends without actually solving that particular case but it's really obvious) gotten soul swapped with an actual detective who had training in the field.

The sad thing is she convinced herself a long time ago that she was right and any criticism or revelation of fact is all a conspiracy in her eyes. Truly sad that the mentally ill are just allowed to feed their own delusions instead of getting help
@Sweet Hysteria yeah honestly if she truly believes in her "visions" and not just playing a character, It's safe to say she's having a schizophrenic episode. I've seen it happen before. @@nation5478 I meant what I said. “Not mentally well” is not a good enough description. Too vague. Could be describing someone who has severe anxiety but could also describe a sociopath.
Rebecca could've hired Lionel Hutz and Ashley could hire _every_ person who wrote a law regarding defamation, and Rebecca would still win. Idaho recognizes defamation per se - if I understand the law correctly, that means Rebecca just needs to prove that Ashley accused her of a crime without stating it was her opinion, and _when_ that succeeds Rebecca doesn't even need to prove damages or negligence. And Ashley stated her accusations several times, and she _explicitly_ said it's not just her opinion, it's "fact" and repeatedly doubled-down. That was the _only_ way that Ashley might (MIGHT) have been able to weasel out of this, but she already burned that bridge and then nuked the ashes just to be safe. Ashley did the setup for Rebecca's 100% lawsuit-win speedrun, and hey, at least she did a good job at _that._
She's delusional Judge: You're being called to court for defamation Ashley: Ah! So you want me to present proof against Rebecca! I knew they wanted me to show the truth to everyone! I'm ready! Cops: We told you, you're being arrested Ashley: Why cops won't cooperate, they invite me to testify against Rebecca and now they change their minds?! This is so unfair
I will laugh when she gets sued and gets proven so wrong so hard. She's not a clown, she's the whole entire circus. Also she should delete her TikTok for good.
