This brawl stars update made me sad & I'm going to talk about my honest thoughts on what we got & what we didn't get this update. Supercell should add a “friendly club” feature where you can link multiple clubs together. A lot of big clubs, like mine, are splitting into smaller clubs and it would be nice to be able to keep in touch with them.

In order to get the power league skin, Instead of winning “matches” in power league, you can win “rounds” instead (you can win 2 rounds in a match of power league)

Everyone saying it should be starpoints but El Dragon and Prince Sprout are new skins. Why would they release a skin with a starpoint version? It would make them lost a lot of money. This is like the chromas in League.

Good idea but it could be better to be like 60-80 wins because 50 round wins are too little for an exclusive skin (think that 50 round wins are equal to 25 match wins)

I wish for them to keep both. Nowadays I only use Showdown when I want to get more trophies in some brawler that isn't that good in 3v3 (Leon, Edgar, Crow, etc), but I like the idea of having a more competitive Showdown, so both. Both is good.

I dont know if supercell remember this, but years ago, when they introduced the star point skins, they told us that with star points you could buy color variation of actual skins, like linebacker bull, red wizard barley, dark dragon knight Jessie... In my opinion they should make El dragon rosado and ruby sprout star point skins too to mantein a little bit of consistency.

The fact you mentioned that all gaming platforms are a bit lower right now for just a few months because of school made me so relieved. I genuinely thought this was only an issue for brawl stars but it’s for all games which makes me happy that the game is still growing, and I’m genuinely excited for the future!

We got 1 brawler and some changes a meh mode and just quality of life changes, seems decent but overall the most mediocre update.... Also clubs having lower members why just why the reason I loved the clubs was because of the size and the thought of how much you would be able to accomplish if clubs had a decent use I hope it's good because I had to delete my club -.-

Power league points for unlocking those skin is a great suggestion. I would add to it that it would be even better if it counts the number of battles in a power league match individually instead of counting all the battles as 1 match

Power league is way to random and keep a lot of games. Only 1 game is good for Power league. Furthermore power league is in a bad play because of balance changing. The meta is way to small for competitive modes

Got to agree about color variations KT, in League there are chromas, they change the look and sometimes effects of a skin, but in order to buy them you need to buy the base skin then buy them for a much cheaper price!

Really agree with your concerns Kairos. Not sure if you read comments by this point but my friends and I qualified for the July championships but made the collective decision to quit brawl stars right before this update because it wasn't fun anymore. Now that this update didn't offer anything new, I don't think we'll be going back. I'll still watch your videos though, just to see if brawl stars comes back with anything new.

I just wanna really point out the direction of balance changes that's been going on, and how much I love it. Instead of simple number tweaks, we've had more and more reworks of brawlers. The most obvious one would be the tank changes, which completely flipped the meta and finally fixed the problem of tanks being just super batteries, but this update did that too. Shelly's gadget change is incredibly fun to play with, and Mortis's change just makes me think they really wanna experiment with more passives, which I really love.

I love how Kairos both appreciates as well as criticises each update and never gets biased on any of the two sides. My friends always either just look on the good sides and changers or just look at the bad changes and criticize them

i like showdown + higher up in trophies, but lower down, like 400-600 trophies it just results in either other people playing more aggresive and you dying, or you feeling forced to play aggresive, and suiciding

15:48 I also thought of something even better. To unlock the skins, you should kill like 150 brawlers so that these players could get motivated by wanting to kill and also try their best in order to kill most brawlers

I think that there won't be people leaving after the update, because they are obviously gaining something from the clan addition, it's not like anything will change, so it's just a new addition which they can choose to do or not.

A duo solo showdown would be nice but the way it would have to work is each team you eliminate you get 2 trophies or something to prevent 2 teams going in and farming a crap ton of trophies

I would love skins that are kind of diy, so you have the option to change the colors, animations, etc. You could buy all the different options for a skin and then mix and match

Showdown+ feels like a more extreme showdown, suited for more 'extreme' players. There's a high risk of losing trophies, while there's also a potential to gain a ton of them. Main issue I personally have is how it limits the brawlers people choose. Of course, every brawler has its own modes to shine in, and not each brawler is suited for every mode, but the limited range of brawlers played does feel a bit unhealthy. If a brawler is awful at picking up or confirming kills, there really isn't a reason to play them at all.

That's brawl stars In general and plus it's what showdown is suppose to be. Plain on fighting and surviving. If your gonna pick something like tick you will get killed cause of low hp. Brawl stars has brawler favoured maps and gamemodes because the team based format they are always there. Showdown there just makes it more visible since its a solo setting where you need to potentially duel someone for your power cubes or safely farm away cause of the match ups. If it was something like brawlball I can tell for certain people choose horrible brawlers just cause well its a team game which is why you always see mortis in this game mode even tho he has the lowest winrate in brawlball.

also, you dont necessarily need a brawler that is good at picking up kills, just one that stays alive. with enough skill, you dont need teaming to win

I found this update quite nice the only thing i'm worried about is tht they're reducing the club's capacity to only 30 ppl, I agree with every point KT mentioned, and i would even love to see the features he mentioned getting implemented in Brawl Satrs.

I believe that sd + made more for very high trophies who getting like 4 or 5 trophies for 1st plase in regular sd, but in sd+ they are now able to get as much additional trophies as low ranks recieve in sd.

suggestion: the exclusive skin should be released thru every season for like 50k points and then the power league criteria like winning 30 games, it would reduce the price from 50k to 25k

To be honest, I’ve been actually losing interest in this game. Especially since I’ve got all the brawlers expect legendaries. All I’ve been doing in game is quest farming and collecting big boxes that I cannot open. And sometimes I lose a bunch of trophies doing quests that makes me super frustrated and feel like I’ve been wasting time. There aren’t many new things in this update, I’ve been skipping some days of even logging on. This update was kind of boring since I’ve been waiting a month to see new features to be added. I hope they can manage to get some big updates soon or I’ll be quitting for a while.

I was one of the players who quit clash royale during clan wars two and focused more on brawl stars and would like to make a suggestion regarding club wars. Clan wars two was boring, but it HAD to be done by all members for the club to survive, which brought up the idea of being able to toggle clan wars two on and off. Anyway, if 100 member club wars is not possible, maybe we could have two types of clubs, competitive clubs (30 members, participates in club wars) and casual clubs (100 members, does not participate). This way, clubs can choose between having extra friends in the club or getting the rewards of club wars.

I totally agree that what they added was great, but I think that it would have been important for the developers to add at least one significant change to the game to retain all of the players after the end of summer.

I think they should change it to 50 power league game wins, opposed to match wins, so if you lose 2-1 you still get one win that counts towards the skin

the 1 issue with showdown+ is people third partying to get cheap kills. such as with piper. maybe a ban list to ban brawlers that are op such as gale in volley brawl.

If you push to Diamond 2 and have all your brawlers over 700 at the end of each season you'll gain more that 25,000 star points a season.

I like your idea for power league, but it's near impossible to monitor if someone has gone AFK. Then what happens if your wifi briefly cuts out? You get less rewards because of bad luck. It's not really fair then

I personally think the best way to fix the power league skin requirements is to change it to: Win # rounds This way, people will still be encouraged to play competitively and try to win but if you lose you may still be rewarded if you won a round
