It's just a pretty good comedy. All the jokes about them being toys and using stuff like giant deodorant cans to spray themselves. That's just good slapstick right there.

Make it like this, stupid as hell, make jokes to trigger the hardcore old he-man fans and get John Cena to play as he-man. Context on triggering old fans: old he-man fans love the classic 80s look to death. They despise the newer stuff and more these are dudes in their avg 50s+. Same thing they collect the living hell out of the exact same looking he-man with little to almost no changes. I want a movie where he-man ends up in the real world and try to find fellow “warriors” like him. Then have bunch of angry dudes getting pissed on Adam/he-man recruit various type of guys or even women instead of the typical 80s action star looking Arnold, van damme, Sylvester looking ppl. What’s the message in the end of film? Except change and let ppl be who they are or anyone can be a hero. Going back to the old fans angry on new he-man designs they hate it BUT if they have kids and see he kids loving the new he-man figures, how they look and various characters then why continue to get mad? He-man lives on through the generation wifh new ppl collecting him, calling out his signature moves and yell the iconic “I have the power!” And make up new stories for the masters of he universe toy line.

@@HydroniteTBbut, isn’t that the reality? pretty girls thinking they’re ugly? it’s not just conventionally unattractive people who get insecure. the whole idea was that no matter how “perfect” you look, namely as a woman, there’s always a lingering feeling of inadequacy. the line at the end of America’s speech sums it up entirely “if just a doll portraying a woman is feeling like this [not good enough], then I don’t even know”. dolls don’t have natural features or conventional flaws, so the message wouldn’t really be as strong if they went with someone less conventionally attractive. it doesn’t make sense for her to be insecure in her looks, and that’s the point.

Margot got all excited when the idea for the Barbie montage came up and she called her mom to ask if she had any pictures or video of little Margot playing with a Barbie. Her mom said, "You?!?!? I don't even think I have a picture of you in a dress!" So Margot isn't in that montage, but she's all over the rest of the movie so it's fine.
