Happy Wednesday, June 26th everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. Excessive heat will give way to periods of cooler temperatures at times through early July. Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms can be expected through the first week of July, including the potential for a few rounds of severe weather across parts of the North-Central states.
Omg I can’t say anything! Hunter thanks for the updates and information for those who are very concerned about their states (homes etc) you have helped many people including me!
Severe weather is not expected over the next day or so. Friday into Saturday and then again early next week, around the Monday through Wednesday time frame would be the times to watch for severe weather potential in Southwest Lower Michigan.
Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible. Damaging winds 60 to 70 mph, large hail 2" or greater in diameter, and a few tornadoes possible on Thursday (6/27/24).
