It’s like zeroing your sights , fine tuning your aim, I actually never fully understood esp until I watched this vid…yessss another sub and look forward to checking out your channel properly. Thanks
Love the vid, sadly I'm a little confused about the "explanation" bit where you want us to find a comfortable setting for flight. You use "curvature" and "sensitivity" so my confuzzlement is a if you mean the ESP curvature or mouse/stick sensitivity/deadzone settings along with the VJoy Range settings. During the "Exercise" you mention 1.0 and 1.2 but again I'm sadly bit lost on which of the sliders you mean. >///< just hope for a lil clarification, am sorry it didn't quite click.
@JohnathanWinters Also, regarding the ESP zone size you state, "If you find while you are trying this that your PIP feels unstable or that you're overshooting too much, then it's time to lower your degrees." Did you mean it's time to INCREASE your degrees, as in to make the ESP field larger? If the area gets smaller, it's even easier to overshoot or be unstable.
@@JohnathanWinters That's good to know, I got my butt handed to me last night doing some 1v1s, I haven't touched the ESP settings at all - hoping to find some wins in this department, thank you for your video.
I watched an Avenger One video from a few months back that went over ESP and he legit butchered whatever the f*ck he was supposed to be talking about when compared to how you explain it in this vid, lol Bookmarked for future reference :)
How to adjust the precision damping curve and precision zone size for mouse and keyboard? These two enhanced option are not available for me above the VJoy visibility?!
so tighten the circle a bit and increase the slow down. got mine at 6.5 and 1.7 - surprised no one else has posted what felt decent. Id like to try other peoples numbers
I honestly expected this video to be some kind of clickbait but this was actually informative and not some blatantly obvious stuff that gets mentioned in literally every single SC tutorial video! You have my sub :)
I don't have an option for "hold" toggle of ESP in my keybindings. Here's what I see: E.S.P. - Toggle On / Off (Press) @ui_v_ifcs_esp_hold What the heck is that 2nd one? Is that it and, if so, what's with the bizarre label?
They've changed the settings so much that this video is useless now. A lot of those aren't written this way, where you have shown them to be, or working as they did
First of all, thank you for the videos. I just started watching/rewatching as I’m trying to get better at pvp. To set a hold for ESP off, do I just hold the button down when setting the keybind?
I can't wait to get my sticks, it's gonna be such a game changer. I've been bingeing a bunch of your vids just to get all of the info in my head lmao. So concise and easy to understand, thank you for doin what you do
What sticks are u getting? I’m buying a whole new pc setup and planning on getting VKB Omni throttle left and a VKB space fighter right. I’m just unsure as a dropped a ton of money on the new pc parts lol
I turned off most of the “”assist”” features as they annoy the heck out of me Target in sight and moving fast = cant put target down sights as the ship will not turn at the required speed even under full input I also like to have a fixed curve that doesn’t change with any change happening in real time because its a pain to have to adjust to the game when things change on and off I also have it set so my head is fixed looking forward without zoom or target tracking because that also annoys me because it prevents me seeing my MFD’s correctly and sometimes at all
@@danth3man763 unfortunally i cant really remember But its a bunch of look ahead and look at target settings Think its 4 different settings each of which have multiple sliders or something Dont have the game installed right now and it should take over a week to install so you will need to look elsewhere to find out how
try it but still cant aim with joystick flying is ok and when it cames to aiming to target or blue circle aim is going so hard not smooth impossible to lock on compare to mouse
@JohnathanWinters In your video you talk about the circle strafe. Fortunately, I knew what you were talking about. However, not everyone does. You then referenced a link in your description, which is to a playlist. Unfortunately, you DIDN'T say which video on your playlist was the one related to circle strafing. For those of you looking for the circle strafe video, it's titled "Why You’re Easy to Hit, How to Stay Evasive | Star Citizen Guide 3.17.2".
All these tutorials you've made, and I still cannot find a single mention or explanation of the HUD gimbal display and pip settings other than the usual "this is lead and this is lag" crap.
This! I've been struggling to push further, so I decided to go back through tutorials looking for things I may have missed. This is game changing; an actual pracitce to tune in ESP. Thank You
P.I.T.W. targeting it will give you instant relief and only Star Citizen has mastered this targeting system. Pissing In The Wind requires just the right amount of angle to get the best arc to hit the floor in front of the target... After all that is how lasers work, for realz!!!
You just killed me in star citizen and I realized I liked this video but haven't gotten around to doing it yet. And since I need to bump my aim up a level, me thinks it time to check my especially settings
where is the "sensitivity" setting he talks about. I've been digging around the menus for 10 minutes now, and the only sensitivity setting I found doesnt affect the sensitivity during flight. Its defaulted at 34, so it seems way too high for what he has in the video.
Holy shit! I just realized me and some friends were fighting with and against you in the PU earlier this week lol. Great vid bro, you're a hell of a pilot.
@@JohnathanWinters I actually watched this video yesterday, opened up my PC this morning and noticed your name and was like oh yea! I remember him! Good content man, keep it up.
I have been pvping for a few years in SC now. Bought dual sticks 1 year ago and still havent mastered them tbh.. But this will surely help. Thanks man! Definitely liked and subbed, keep em coming cheers!
Gives your mind less time to respond to the sensitivity change. Like jumping out of a moving car, the faster the car goes the harder it is to not fall when your feet touch the ground.
Will have to play with the setting since what you described is something i am struggling with. I am constantly overshooting and having issues "guiding" the pip on smoothly.
I'm new to the verse and understand the basics for the most part. My question is how do you fight with just the crosshair and not the line that you use to look around? If that makes sense
That line is just an assist tool that indicates how far from the center your mouse is positioned. It has no effect on your aim. I use sticks so I don't need a line.
Hey! Hmm.. I'm trying to figure out how to explain without sounding absolutely braindead lol.. So when i use Vjoy i have a smooth turning and movement, but when i toggle my mouse mode it feels so stiff.. Like, if i were to make a U-turn i would have to move my mouse across my entire desk. But watching you it seems so smooth and you can easily make turns and follow the target. It's kinda like there's resistance... I hope this makes sense and enough info for you to help me out! Thanks, and keep up the good work!
What about heavy fighters like an inferno? Can the same thing be applied too something like that too? I find I miss way too many shots before I can take the enemy out because of how sluggish the turning is with it so my aim just goes all over the place and is a mission and a half just trying too keep my aim on the pip.
