What Sir Tom says at 8:07 resonates with me very strongly.

What a beautiful sound the choir has. I have a soft spot in my heart for male choirs. The next time I am in the UK I will look up some concerts featuring good choirs.

I actually looked that up *sheepishly* But yup, do read it, I remember it being great.

@drtmuir I remember reading from an article that he's Allen's best friend.

@a96agli I knew Tear and Allen were friends but not best friends. Interesting. Where did you read about that?

@schweitzer006325 I tried finding the original reference (essay deadline tonight, so big-time procrastination going on), but couldn't - it was one of those little snippet things you come across on the google result page 79 type of thing. I checked Allen's book, and there are two references to Tear - according to one, they were very close, and according to other, Allen and his wife spent some time "en famille" with Tear and his wife.
