The green tomatoes will turn red if you put it in the windowsill. God bless. Prayers and hugs for you all and whoever may need them ❤️ Love you all and the animals too. Pray on🙂
What a before and after! It was kinda sad, I remember how much work you put in to it. Then life got in the way, so very grateful it turned out the way it did. You are both still standing, Thankyou GOD 🙏❤🙏❤🙏!
Strawberries are going to come back. Just leave them alone. You’re doing the part I’m not crazy about doing. Love to plant, not crazy about clean up. My great son in law did all my cleanup this year. God bless him. Don’t know what I’d do without him.
My favorite vids, your garden, collecting eggs & grandma cooking. You too, Ralph. Isn't it fun to be doing this in retirement? Thank you, Chad! He's so funny & HANDSOME! ✝️💜📿🙏🏻💖
Good evening you 2 grumpy love ones 😂 😂, Green tomatoes and red tomatoes are still usable. Consider putting Strawberries in those hanging pots as easier to pick them hanging over the side of pots.. Nice dumping cart on wheels. Very glad the comedy and love you both have for each other is overwhelming. Great video guys.
Love the T-shirt 😂. Next year will be an awesome veggie garden beds 👍 Team work , so great to spend time in the nice weather. Moss roses do return and so do strawberries. Tomorrow you both will be sore but so worth it. Now comes goat fertilizer. Blessings 🙏🫶❤️🫶🙏. Love your videos.
Today is the 25th of October, and I cleaned and fertilized my raised bed. Ready for spring. Planted a window box with basil for growing inside the house. You both did well. ❤ pray on.
I remember as a kid going trick-or-treating when it was blazing HOT. Then l remember some years it was freezing 🥶 Our worst time ever, cuz we had to cover up our costumes with a coat! God has a plan for this sunshine & heat. The Hurricane victims need it. It's ALWAYS IN GOD'S HANDS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND MANY PRAYERS 🙏🏻 NURSE JUDI IN SCOTTSDALE AZ AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTER 🙏🏻 & PROUD OF IT! !!
Cleaning out annual gardens always proves to be a therapeutic exercise in spite of the initial overwhelming size of the task! Many hands make light work.
Love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect grandma and grandpa and the animals and working on the homestead and cleaning the gardens. Strawberries regenerate
Here's a bit of horticulture FYI it is indeed "Moss rose". Its biological botanical name is called Portulaca grandiflora. Its not even in the rose family . Its a type of Purslane. Semi-succulent. Typically found in South America dry and arid conditions. It's grown as an annual flowering plant. And now you know a bit more.😊👍😁❤
The trees in the background are so pretty, changing colors. They don't last long and then the tree are bare. Garden cleaning went well. Please rest when necessary, your both looking great!!🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
I loved seeing the colors on the trees as well. I don't know why parts of my State have beautiful trees in the fall. But where I am it just goes to summer, Fall, leaves falling but not changing color, Winter, hardly any snow, but lots of ice, and Spring with tornados. 🤷♀️😊
Hi grandma and grandpa, really loved this video watching you sort out your garden. Teamwork was great and it looks so different and ready for the resting period when it's cold. It was a good idea grandma with that cart, at least you didn't have to pick the dead plants etc up more than once to tip it away. Helped make lighter work of it. You should feel proud of yourselves for that project. Well done. Miss kitty loves the attention she gets from you, bless her🐾🐈. Take care and safe. still listen to what your body is telling you and sit and rest a while when you need to. Look forward to seeing your next video 🎉🙋🏡🧑🌾🌱🪴🛒
Don't pull up the rose moss! I have mine planted in big bowls from the Dollar Tree and they have come back every year. I'm in North Texas and mine are still putting on the prettiest blooms!
Strawberries take two years before they produce, all you have to do is clean the weeds out and they will produce nicely next year. Looks great LeaAnn and Ralph doing jobs God allows you to do and the love and togetherness is what really warms my heart. God blessed us with your family, I will forever thank Chad for starting this 4/5 years ago these are the best part of my day. Dad/Marv has crossed through the Golden Gates evening of the 23rd and pray nightly Mom is okay. She will be moving back up here to Salem, Oregon from Arizona as her last three kids live here. And can’t wait, to spend a lot of time with her and celebrate her 90th birthday in February. Thank you for all your prayers Doss family blood and virtual I truly needed them to get me through. I Love ❤️ you all.
the moss rose has its own seeds....mom always saved a bunch to sow next yr....when come up pick biggest plants to start a pot ....mom had some that were double blooms....they were beautiful too
Great job guys, team work makes the dream work. Your strawberries will come back next year. Don't do anything with them right now, the leaves and most of the stems will turn brown but leave them to protect the roots from frost. When you think the last frost has gone, remove (use secateurs do not pull the stems up) all the brown leaves and stems WITHOUT breaking any green shoots that are visible. If the plants look choked, thin them out, add in some fertilizer and keep them moderately watered daily. God bless.
Hello Ralph and LeaAnne ,yes leave the strawberries just give them a trim back a little and maybe thin out the plants they do die back in fall .or make a new strawberry bed , they have what's called runners trim those or you will have too many plants to cope with .maybe Rae and Shanon would like some for their gardens .have a really good weekend God bless and pray on ❤🙏 🙏
I always water at night. This prevents the sun from evaporating the water, giving the plants time to absorb it. If I water during the day I make sure the plants are in shade.
Oh, Ralph is happy just to get out in the yard and do a lot as long as he doesn’t open to himself. He’s fine and costly and we know you’re not gonna let them overdo it even though he’s trying to glad to see both he is healthy again doing all right, God bless you both and keep praying, and as it says, pray on❤❤❤❤❤❤
The seeds from the tomatoes that were rotten and thrown into the woods could produce volunteer plants for next year. When I was a small kid at my grandparents house I would eat fresh grown cherry and regular sandwich tomatoes. I would occasionally take a few seeds of each and put them in my grandma's flower beds. Every spring she would find random tomatoe plants and wondered how they got there. I told her and it made her so happy because it was less plants that she would have to buy the next spring. I am so glad to see momma cat is back home. Thank you for this great video you both are amazing. God bless you both and your entire family.
1. Put a 1 inch hole in the side of a 5 g bucket. 2. Put either end of a garden hose in the hole. 3. Roll the garden hose up by rolling the bucket on its side.
Requesting prayers for my in-laws. My FiL had a stroke yesterday. My MiL has surgery next Tuesday on her female organs. The found m mass attached to her female organs but pressing on her colon. God blessed me with the best in-laws. Please pray for healing and strength.
We haven’t cleared our garden yet. Our tomato plants look bad but they are still producing tomatoes. Our sweet potatoes plants are still green. Not sure if the sweet potatoes are ready to be dug out of our raised beds yet.
Our prayers have been answered. You should not apologize for anything. I continue to ask God for your hedge of protection. My granddaughter has completed her 2nd phase of chemo and so far, everything is looking good. Thanks to you and the community! It's working. ❤
Y'all aren't supposed to make me cry on Friday videos!!! 😭😭 BUT it is a good loving, thankful cry! Grandpa, "You don't have to clean up the garden, you get to clean up the garden!" And Grandma too! My heart is full watching y'all do projects together after all the trials you both have been through the last few months! Great video and great job! I will agree with Darlene....you're killing me, Smalls! Do you know where that is from? 😉🤭 Now you two have me all excited! I'm 75 you know! When you tell someone 75 years old to wait...ehhh? Just kidding. It sounds like something to look forward too. Do you realize how much enjoyment we get out of just hanging out with y'all doing projects and laughing together!! Again we don't have to watch these priceless videos we get to! Bless you both Ralph and LeaAnn and love ya! 🙏❤️ STAY STRONG AND PRAY ON!!🙏🙏🙏 Continued prayers for all needs/requests, for those affected by the hurricanes and for the upcoming election ( for peace, civility, and for God's Will to be done) Blessings to my entire Doss family and the extended Doss family! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇱🙏🙏
Great clean up of the gardens! I did mine the other week. It's sad to say goodbye, so this year I decided to try over wintering 2 pepper plants. They're now in pots in the garage. Instructions are to pretty much ignore them - we'll see how that goes.😅
❤❤I'm So Happy For the Both of You to BE TOGETHER in that MESSED UP Garden! You Both had Me WORRIED BUT THANK YOU LORD FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS!! Pray on!! 🙏 for All the Rest of Us Still Waiting to Be Healed or a Way to Be Better!! God Bless ❤
It’s not easy pulling all your dead garden plants up with roots & tossing n the woods. But at least you’re getting it ready for spring. Love all of your videos. Pray on & God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🏻💕
Looks great, I know your both happy to be doing this together! Your looking so much better Ralph your color is so much better. Thrilled for both of you, God Bless ❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏼
