My son and daughter in law have been asked by foster care to take the brother of the two children they adopted. He’s only 3. I would appreciate prayers for them and the choices they have to make. 💕🙏
Good morning, Gary and Cassie! I do hope you get some answers to your questions from the donkey folks! Donating the money from the sale of the beef is awesome! There are so many humanitarian needs around the world, and this will help! 💖💖💖
I just love Faith. She is so sweet. God bless the Walker Farm family! An elderly friend in East Tennessee. GaGa. Please continue to pray for all the people that were affected by Helena. Our Mountain people are going to be suffering for along time. 🙏🙏🙏🥰❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
In the dog world, you're not supposed to breed a Merle with a Merle. It causes blindness & deafness. DeeJay Arms has bred spotted with a spotted and has had no problems. Talk with Marie at Random Oakie Farms. It was her jack that DeeJay used.
Hello all you two do great videos I really like how you explain things. And how you are helping others. Of course I always love seeing the animals but the dogs were not there. Till next time Susan in Ohio😊❤
Good morning Gary and Cassie you two are amazing at what you do for other people. You both have a wonderful heart and you are passing it down to your children. We need more people to spread the word of God and prayers thank you. God bless
Thank you for being a "point man" for your foster care and your church. Sorry if I stated that incorrect, but I think you will know what I mean. Glad you found the water problem and easily fix it.
Gary, think about doing a drive to collect toys, clothes, and other necessities even monetary donations for the foster care kids and use your social media platform to promote it! Good Simple Living does one every year for a child cancer center in their area and the social media followers absolutely go above and beyond! The donations grow every year! You could seriously make a huge difference for many, many families. Certainly something to consider.
Why would anyone complain about your solar generators. I wish I could afford one for when the power goes off during bad thunderstorms and in the winter ice and snow storms. Take care. ❤❤
We have 2 that we purchased on sale. We did not purchase the biggest or the most expensive, but we did notice the companies have great sales once a year and the solar panels can be used on either unit,so we don't have a lot of panels.
Hi Gary and Cassie, I am glad you got the leek fixed, The auction is always fun to watch and look at the animals, have fun and don't spend a bunch and watch our for Randsom LOL Love you all God bless and until next time take care
That is so awesome. My girlfriend has a granddaughter and her husband are missionaries. Not sure where, they are having a baby too. Please keep them in your prayers.
Love the way you give back to so many. So caring to everybody. Glad the water leak was an easy fix. Faith is so precious, love how friendly she is. 🙏🙏🙏🙏Prayers to all in need 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
I always enjoy your videos especially seeing the donkeys and baby Faith. She is so adorable. I hope Benny will learn to be nice to the Lamas. Gary you are a good fix it man. It looks like you got that water problem fixed. I wish we could see the animals at the auction. Where we lived there is nothing near us that have animals for sell. I think it's very exciting. I love you guys.❤❤❤
Thank you for being a good person/family. Being active in life AND DOING what is right helps a huge amount of people in all walks of life. That is what the Bible tells us to do, trying to be Christ like is what everyone should be doing. Thanks for the reminder. You are great parents, and a super friend to many. ❤❤❤ hugs and prayers to you and the Walker family!!!
Love the whole idea behind the 111 Project. As Christians we all can do something. Just recently a foster family who has my foster gals younger sibling took in a sibling group of 5, ages 1 - 6. That gives them 7 foster children under 9 years plus 4 adopted children age 12 - 19. The 5 arrived with just the clothes on their back. Foster mom told me about the situation and I told her not to buy clothes. I would take it to my church family. Like you said, everyone can do something. PRAYER is a major need! After church a family came to me saying they had everything the family needed including toddler beds. Others brought me bags of cloths. 3 families went out and bought something for each child. The foster was totally blown away by the generosity and love shown to them. This is how it should be. We all need to be willing to help whether it is prayer, giving the parents a break by supplying a meal, or simply verbal encouragement. Thank you to everyone in the foster care system and thank you to all who support us in big or little ways. The little things you do or say can be bigger than you think.
98° here in Scottsdale AZ. GOD knows the Hurricane victims need more sun & heat right now. HE knows what he's doing. God bless you all and many prayers 🙏🏻 Nurse Judi in AZ and E Minister ✨️ 🙏🏻 ✝️✨️🙏🏻📿📖💜📿
I know it's an inconvenience when things happen like your water hydrant leak. But on the positive side it happened while its still warm, not in the middle of winter with low temperatures and frozen ground 😊. It's such a good thing what you're doing with the steer and in helping with foster care. Not sure what the state pays foster parents for the children's care but I'm sure there's still a need for help. If only more communities would do more.
I know that in the horse world, the whites and grays are very susceptible to cancer. I don't know if that also pertains to the lighter pigmented donkeys as well.
Pls pray for my husband's cardiologist appt on Oct 31 that the doctor will be able to do something to help him feel better and have better quality of life.
Gary, is your home on well water? We are here….septic too…..however when I use to live up in the mountains in So Oregon…4800 ft elevation, our well water (man oh man it tasted good!) pipes were 2 ft underground which in our area was the freeze line. We had a outdoor shower next to a propane hot water heater that we kept on Vacation, and when we took a shower, 1/2 hour before, we’d turn it to high, before the shower we had to be sure water filled the hot water tank as we take our shower so we had a (for lack of a better word) station where we took the top off of were the gears to turn on the water to run from our holding tank to the hot water tank….remember I mentioned it was 2 feet down….well I had to hang from my waist to reach the turn knobs……..not to mention I had to start the generator to pump the water 200 ft down…..up into the red wood tank. Gawd, what an experience. Sorry comment is long, I turned on a memory while trying to describe where our water was. I was as old as Cassie….(little younger?) when we moved there. (40 yrs old………37 yrs ago)
Cassie my cousin is a missionary in Africa .Things are not that bad there my cousin lives in a nice house has stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer. She has a garden and fruit trees I have seen pictures.
White spotting patterns in donkeys are caused by genetic variants, and some combinations of these variants can be problematic: Two separate variants in the KIT gene (W and Ws) cause white spotting in donkeys. Homozygosity for the Ws allele (Ws/Ws) is thought to be incompatible with life, with one case of a Ws/Ws foal dying by 2 weeks of age. The W/W genotype is also likely to be inviable. The KIT gene has pleiotropic effects, meaning it affects multiple traits beyond just coat color: It's involved in the development of pigment cells, certain blood cells, and some cells of the gastrointestinal tract. Deficient KIT signaling may impair the development of these critical cell types. In general, the white coloration itself doesn’t cause health problems in animals. The issues arise from specific genetic combinations that happen to produce white coats, rather than from the white color itself. For breeders, it's recommended to avoid mating two white-patterned donkeys, as this could potentially result in inviable foals due to the genetic combinations mentioned above. I this helped, and didn’t just confuse you.
I know in paint horses you can have genetic testing done to be sure not a carrier of the lethal white gene, but don't know the cost (I imagine not cheap and probably not an option). Both parents have to carry a copy of that gene. I honestly have not heard about it in donkeys, but I am sure your donkey friends might have the correct answer for you
Google says you can breed a spotted donkey to a spotted jack.. no issues.. Also says 1/3 of the foals born can be solid colors even though the parents are both spotted.
I believe that part of the reason I really enjoy your show is that you are Christians and you try to live a good life no cussing etc. and I love that you shared the thing about taking care of widows, orphans, and fatherless boys however, I’m always stunned that people who call themselves Christians knock on word, cross their fingers etc. if you truly believe that God through Jesus can take care of you Make things go well for you and help you in stressful moments. Why do you head your bets with superstition something the Bible warns us against is getting involved in anything that involves superstition, fortunetelling, spiritualistic not spiritual, but spiritism like séances and things like that I’ve noticed quite a few people on here who I know we are Christians, and are good people like yourselves do this. A lot of people are not aware, but luck is also a God and you were supposed to hold no gods before Jehovah, when you were supposed to worship no one but him through his son Jesus I don’t mean for this to be negative just something to think about
