A scattering of abandoned electric vehicles, destined to deteriorate over time, may be seen in any major Chinese city. When electric vehicles were first introduced to the market, car sharing firms were among the most significant buyers. It was hard to convince consumers to make such a radical changeover, so the government decided to stimulate industry growth by granting car sharing companies’ significant subsidies for electric automobiles. Electric vehicles (EVs) became suddenly indispensable to their fleet. Looking at the numbers from when EVs were first being sold, these corporations bought the vast majority of them. Consumers using EVs for personal use were uncommon. Nevertheless, this has a major impact on the initial growth of the EV industry. The fast expansion was vital, but it caused many fatalities because once the Chinese government ceased granting enormous incentives to car sharing companies, most of them went out of business. These corporations didn't get a chance to upgrade their fleets, and because we are talking about the early stage of electrification, there's no need to explain how all those EVs grew outdated in only a few years and are now pretty well unusable. That's where all those EV graveyards come from.
