This is fantastic. As the first story began i suddenly remembered seeeing this film on TV as a child. I could only remember the painting and the light going on in the window, but i definitely saw this with my mother when i was small. As my mother died a few years ago it was a wonderful memory. Thank you so much.

The first story was pure brilliance. It left me wanting it not to end when it was over. It should be made into a full movie. it was like nothing ive ever seen. ❤

Good grief. That first one ☝️ with the story behind the painting 🖼️ was just about the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen. What kind of a mind does a person have that can think 🤔 up a story like that? I certainly would hate to live inside that head. 😱😱😱😱😳😳😳😳

An interesting variety of the three murder stories .The first one I found surreal - I guess a bit creepy for some viewers . The second one- straight forward plot with a very clever ending. The third my favourite- the unforgettable Orson Welles in a psychological drama of mind games. Brilliant acting with a surprise ending. 🙏🏻🙂
@cunningpal
@cunningpal Год назад
The second story could have ended with the bartender picking up the phone to call not the police, but the murderer, to whom he would say, "You left a bracelet with me by mistake; I'll be happy to sell it back to you, on an installment plan . . .". Alan Badel acted wonderfully well in all three segments. The first story was so fantastic it was humorous, especially at the end. The artist's "new addition" would probably not be the last one.

This same woman in the same dark dress was in a movie that I watched yesterday. It was The Cosh mystery show. Two young punks, Roy and Brian, were allowed to run wild. Roy’s mother was an indulgent mother. Roy could do no wrong. Brian’s mother knew that he was running with the wrong crowd but she could do nothing to stop him. Roy got the girlfriend pregnant and refused to marry her and she tried to drown herself. She lived but lost the baby. He felt some remorse but denied any blame. His mother married a man that he had vowed to kill if she married him. Hey would up killing a man. He was holding a gun on a man and accidentally pulled the trigger and killed him. The movie ended with his stepfather giving him a beating with a leather belt but it doesn’t say that he went to prison for killing that man that he shot. 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

After 'Othello' Orson Welles was on the run from creditors. He exiled himself in Blighty, where he made a travelogue series for the BBC, before settling in Spain. 'Lord Mountdrago', like 'Trouble in the Glen', was a bread-and-butter acting job, though as usual he tried to muscle in on direction and rewrite his lines. The producers hoped his name would sell the film. But both big UK distributors refused it, saying Orson was not box office. It was barely seen either in Britain or the USA.
