What are your thoughts of the open holes behind the front tires that can trap rocks and debris?

Put Ceratec in there , the noise will go away immediately. Just make sure you put two bottles of it in there. That’s where people make the mistake they only put one bottle. it takes two bottles for every ten quarts of oil. The stuff works !

This is why I am keeping my '24 GT 100% stock. I wanted to lower and add an H-Pipe but I have heard so much about warranty problems with simple mods. With so much technology and it being a first-year of the new model I'm not taking any chances. Stock active exhaust sounds good enough lol

Steeda usually is an authorized part upgrade. They usually work with Ford Engineers when developing their parts for Mustang. Unless it’s changed Steeda is a Ford authorized part.

Dude!!! I found the fix to your clicking noise when initiating forward and reverse. I installed the steeda liniar springs in my 24 as well. Straight away as soon as i pulled out of the shop the clicking started when i would roll forward or backward from stop(sounds like a giant torque wrench hitting spec). Brought it to ford and they said " bearing or thrust washer" and it was the fault of the lowered suspension. I didnt buy into that so i called steeda and Rod at steeda asked all the right questions. Long story short my shop had torqued the rear end suspension to spec with wheels hanging off a lift. This caused "geometry issues". Rod reccomended loosing and re torqe of all bolts with the suspension loaded up on an allingment rack or the like. Emediatly the sound went away and has never even flirted with coming back. After listening to your recording of the sound im 100% sure its coming from the same source ( bushings and endlinks binding). Having done the work yourself did you have the car on jack stands??? If so this could be your fix my dude!. P.s i love the chanel and respect the hell out of you taking on these projects yourself. It truly give me the courage to attempt more on my own. Cheers 😁

I just got rid of mine. My 24 gt didn’t have any of ur issues. I didn’t like the 10sp transmission whining noise and at 700 miles it started the typewriter tic noise. Nevertheless I owned many many Mustangs and they are a problem car lol. I traded it for a 24 C8. MUCH MORE MONEY AND HAPPIER 😆

Just put the stock springs back on the rear. Thats an easy switch and take it back ti the dealership if it still makes the clicking sound.

I bought mine a month ago. 2024 Mustang fastback GT 5.0. Only 260 miles so far. It's at the dealer right now for a loose panel on the side, a paint chip by passenger door, and the worse was a knocking sound when you break, on the front driver side. Also it's getting leather seat upgrades. I'll edit my comment when I get it back and put some more miles on it

My 24 is in because my parking brake is “stuck” causing the cars braking system to to limit my brakes and disable my traction control.they said it might be the brake booster but they still haven’t given me a solid reason yet

While I was doing the rear springs, I noticed that my driver side Axle boot is throwing its grease out, @2k miles... I don't trust any dealership shops around here but 1, and they are 10 weeks out. I bought gt350 axles to put in myself now.

Hey man. In response to the type writer tick. I use Castrol Full Synthetic 5w30 and the only ticking noise are the injectors. Check what oil and grade is in your engine via stealership.

The brake pedal noise almost sounds like it’s a lubrication issue. Like the pedal isn’t moving smoothly. Kinda like a creaking door, if that makes any sense.

Have you checked to see if the brake pedal click is the switch for the brake lights? Looks like it’s right at the top of the travel and might be the electronic switch that turns the lights on/off. Maybe they installed a loud one in the 24s?

For your rear clicking just have to lubricate the axle hub behind the wheel bearing and that noise should go away. For the brake noise take the brake switch out and see if the noise is still there.

I have the same clicking sound from the brakes, but it’s more of a creaking sound. Will take it to ford tomm, did you have any new updates about it?

Its def not the steeda springs. My new Dark Horse with 850 miles on it has that weird thunk sound when breaking down to 30mph - 20ish. Dealer knows about it and gonna take a look at it again tomorrow. They already re tightened and checked the suspension but it didnt help. The sound started around 400 miles, went away at 700miles and came back at 800miles. So bizarre ugh. Otherwise the car drives amazing! Car is still fully stock.

I have the exact same noise on my 24 GT when I reverse. My car is NOT lowered and I only have 1000km on the car. What is the issue? so I can relay it to the Ford tech.

What wheels do you have and do they fit the stock tires?

Sounds like 1st year problems lol, it doesn't sound like anything concerning just stuff they will have to iron out over time.

I had something like that clicking from the right rear tire in my 2016 GT too. sounds very close. Dealer fixed it. If you changed the suspension, and then the noise started... I dont think ANY dealer would just warranty repair it.

Dealerships are the worst. I’m surprised they didn’t void your warranty because of the springs. So I have a 2024 performance pack, and for some reason they just kept shifting and being very Wally it turned out that the dealership which I took it to had it for a couple days told me that it’s the tires they pull the Carfax on the new 2024 and it ended up being that they replace the tire before they sold the car to me. So I had two different tire treads in the back of the car. Luckily the dealership honored the fact that I didn’t do anything to the car and they got me two brand new tires for the car and it fixed the issues so far I haven’t had any other issues but if it does come up I’ll post about it here.

Hey man! I’m having a similar issue with a rear left ticking/ clunking sound on my 2022 GT only 5k miles. Dropped it off to the dealer today. I made sure to talk to the tech before leaving the car to make sure they heard the noise so I wouldn’t get excuses that they couldn’t hear anything. They said they were going to see if they could fix it. Will update on what happens.

Use ceratac and the clicking is gone.

The 401A cars come with the B&O sound system to drown out minor niggling sounds... 😛 Good thing you didn't buy a C4 Corvette, or your head would have exploded like you were the Scanners movie... 😂

Update from ford on my clicking noise which is exact same as yours that I’ve posted on previous comment , Ford says there is a TSB for hub bearings and axles for certain build dates not mine , ford said replace both axles and wheel bearings , parts are not in stock but are being ordered 🤦🏻‍♂️

That would make me sell the car, but I would never modify a new car until it had 10000 miles on it, I got a new BMW m240 very happy over 4000miles and no noises or problems very happy with it I was gonna get a mustang GT watching the videos I’ve been seeing I’m glad I made the right pick

Yo so I wanted to also update you on my brake assembly issue.. aside from the squishy feel and clicky sound my left caliper has developed a squeak when applying brake pressure in reverse and to make matters worse I now have the click/pop noise like you do when stopping after reverse. This noise occurred AFTER getting the car back from FORD, mind you I have no springs or suspension mods on my car. The nut kicker is while my advisor and tech agreed it's most likely a brake assembly recall but since our vin isn't effected yet they refuse to service. He did say wait a month tho and they will try and submit for warranty. Also I only have 1.5K miles on mine. Keep me up to date man because I feel your pain !

Just take it to a suspension specialist for their opinions

That’s wat happens when u modify your vehicle in anyway dealerships are using any mods to void warranties nowadays cuz they dnt wana cover the cost if they can screw u over they will

im like you, all those things would fkn annoy me insanely. with my S550, i had some issues Ford had a look at and never fixed any of them. I did what you did and resolved all the whining, rattling and whatever myself lol

They found the click ! Told them what has been found with others …time will tell waiting for that call ☎️

My high performance BMW has had no issues and 35k miles in. Of course I did pay a lot more than a mustang costs.

If you Lowered it without shortening your Drive Shaft, then your U-Joints are going to go bad. I don't recommend launching hard. 👨🏻👍🏻🏎🏎🏁🏁🚩🚩 I've been there and would up raising it to Stock on a previous Mustang.. Currently, I have A 2022 Roush Mustang and they did all of that with the 8 Year Warranty Everything including Fluids I don't pay for anything, Just tires which are $500.00 Each

Your issues with Ford service doesn't surprise me. Ford thinks nothing is ever wrong with their cars. I had a 2019 with low miles that was having issues with a cylinder. One dealer parked my car or back for 4 hours only to say nothing is wrong. I took it to another dealer who said cylinder 3 had a bad plug so they changed it. There shouldn't have been a bad plug. Issue came back. Dealer then ignored it and said nothing was wrong. I had other issues like the battery dying, electrical issues, etc. I ended up selling the car to Carvana when they were giving good money. I loved that car, but I knew something major was wrong with it and for Ford to play it off really upset me. It was my 3rd Mustang and unfortunately won't buy another no thanks to Ford.

Your brake pedal issue just turn your radio up as far as the clunking in your rear I don't understand why people buy a perfectly good car then buy a bunch of aftermarket junk and put on it

You shouldn't have to try and fix your car yourself - it is under warranty (BS). Try calling Ford.

Dude just leave the car bone stock. Do not modify the new mustangs. Just live it stock.
