Menopause is a series of changes that the body experiences before the periods completely stop. This is a perfectly natural progression, one that must be spoken about, understood and embraced. This series is an attempt to reach out to those who are confused, conflicted and anxious about how this natural process will pan out for them.
Perimenopause is the phase leading to menopause. Menopause is a full 12 months without a period and post menopause is the phase that follows. While this progression is natural, it can come with fatigue, night sweats, increased waist circumference, poor digestion, loss of sleep, etc. One of my clients described it as an endless first trimester only where no one is in a mood to indulge you.
The series aims to bring about an awareness of the changes so that you tide over the phase smoothly. It will educate and advocate about inexpensive, familiar, homemade foods and practices that will ease out the symptoms you experience. This is to ensure that your day to day functioning returns to normal, you are empowered to accept the changes and not embarrassed about them. Nor do you reduce the transition to a deterioration.
The first video in this series highlights 3 foods - walnut, gud & ghee, and rajgeera. The idea is to naturally infuse your daily diet with nutrients that you could be missing out on because you are “watching what you eat“ or are simply on a restricted diet with reduced diversity. Nutrients such as vitamins, micro minerals, fibre, polyphenols, essential fats, etc.,
to beat hot flashes, indigestion, skin & hair changes.
Ageing is natural, jawani is fleeting, josh is not. It is a blessing to live a long healthy life. Nothing can help you grow and evolve like age can. So keep the focus on health, happiness and weight loss with follow.
The language of the videos is Hindi to reach out to a larger section of audience. Captions in English.

Many thanks for taking the effort to educate women on the changes of menopause. ....I'm a 60 year old woman who is finished with menopause and I feel these are the best years of my life. Health wise and emotional maturity wise...

I came to know in depth about menopause 2-3 years back only and I can understand at least 1/4 of what my mum is going thru because I have PCOS and I also face a few similar symptoms myself… so I try to help and support my mum thru this phase :) …. I think we all need to support our mom’s or any older women in our lives at this stage of life much more ….because this is usually the time when women are left to take care of themselves, no one gives them much attention or thought cause we all get so busy in our lives we tend to forget about our mums sometimes

Mera to menopause at the age of 35 ho gaya tha after my uterus was removed 😢and uss waqt tak i had two son but due to genetics cancer and loosing my mother due to ovarian cancer led to histractmy and uske baad to aisa laga jisne mere body me kisi ne hawa bhar diya,i had serious issues of weight gain and now after 14 yrs i completely different looking person coz due to hormonal disbalances i had a rare disease condition called Acromegaly where growth hormone shoots up leading on bone growth and weight gain,my feet my face my jaws bone had rapidly grown and today i have no underbite,i can’t chew food, i am in mental trauma though had a surgery last yr where i had developed a tumour in my pituitary gland ,bhagwan ki kripa se thik hu but i don’t look the same i was 10yrs back😢my confidence level is dead,leading my life with complex is a nightmare..bus khud ko ye dilasa dena mujhse v jyda dukhi log hai iss duniya me hain so better be happy n love yourself ..🙏♥️

0 problems in spite of being diabetic bec I started eating Nani-Dadi diet and exercising (weight training,cardio and stretching). The effects of years negligence are there..but its okay..now i am doing right things and have a lot of energy!!!!..Thanks to you!!! Literally menopause came in most normally. Also..mom said..it's a normal thing don't dwell on it.

I felt an opening of my worldview and an overview of the transactions between men and women and just of men as well, only after 50 yrs. Till then the thinking of most women is heavily weighed by the conditioning by their family, media and society in general. Nothing anyone will say to counter that works, till one reaches the age of 50 and beyond. I'm dealing with my menopause by sticking to two- three ingrediant recipies and staying away from outside food which causes all kinds of gut problems. Sprouted methi seeds and flax seeds powder bring a lot of health to menopausal women.
