All my life i was less than 65 kilos but despite f eating well i hv crossed 70 kilo mark in last 2-3 months.. Not liking d way i look... I excersice too My Q is... I exercise & eat healthy food, but if I get a good waist line, I find my face looks sunken and old, and if I put on a little bit, my skin glows, and looks good, but waist size is compromised. I wish I knew how to find the balance
I have been doing all 3 types of exercises since past 10 years. I had an early menopause 10 years ago. I am currently 48 years old with AVN left hip. I do treks once a year and frequently sky dive too. She is right. All these exercises done with relaxation and moderation makes a lot of difference. You don't feel depressed..
I suffered severe heat intolerance and struggled with excercise, even what I was regularly doing prior. Depressed mood would make me unmotivated to excercise as well. Suffered with worst menopause transition for years. Consider yourself very lucky.

I am in 50s .. Was Going through the menopause since 1 yr.. During that period I have lost my 18 yrs son in an accident.. I was so impacted mentally n physically.. I didn't do anything for 1 and 1/2 year.. Even I didn't walk out of home.. There was no periods till date.. Now again I started exercise, my periods started again..
Nothing we say can even come close to what you've gone through. It's a relief to know you're getting back to your exercise routine. May God give you the strength...

if we have not exercised for years - *start with stretching. for 1 minute a day*, next day for 2 minutes, the 3rd day for 3 minutes and so forth. so by the 10th day you have stretched your body for 10 minutes*. . DO NOT START STRENGTH TRAINING on day 1 - which will make the muscles sore. start walking gently . do it every day - there are many stretching exercises, one can do on the bed -for an absolute beginner. . *stretching has helped my body to relax and destress* - it removes the knots - I lazily started with stretching and walking gently and to remove the tiredness of the walking muscles, the stretching helped. before and after the walk *do what your body can ONLY do* - AND do it everyday. *the creator created us to work, not to be a couch potato* - if our body is stretched, it is almost like getting a tissue massage without draining the pockets. take a vacation from your screen. we gave importance to stretching for the first time in my life and I am able to get into clothes which I was planning to give away. Aging is a blessing - one has lived our years well. How many has left this earth this morning - *Exercise means TO DO*. it is NOT a competition.
