All too true I think it was CHARLES WHITING (a US INFANTRY PL CMDR ww2) who wrote of a Buck SGT that he had sent to the rear with a WERMACHT pow ...on return to the PL when queried said ..."well!...to tell us the truth we /he didn't make all the way to the rear !" AND the late DIR SAM FULLER ex 16 INF BIG RED 1 who told many DAK tales of wars REALITY !!!! Check out ....BIG RED ONE the RECONSTRUCTION (original was cut savagely missing much mega detail ) sp features ...MEN who made the movies :dir interviews and opinions etc....A MUST watch !

Only piece of “pacific” uniforms are the p41 pants one of the guys are wearing. M41 and m43 where used in the pacific of course but every American troop had either a m43 “more common by 45” or m41 sorry.... where a youtube channel not a funded film studio

The German soldiers were killed due to being SS. They were considerably crueler than the average Heer soldier, hence they became more of a "kill on sight" target for the Americans.

True, but sometimes it's hard to branch out to the different fronts which would require new uniforms and weapons. I do agree it can get boring, but sometimes it's just the constraints that us filmakers face. I'm sure when they have more of a budget they will branch off into different fronts. For now we can continue to help them improve their story telling and filmmaking.
