I find it scary how you can be the most sober saying law, abiding citizen, and still be the worst driver on the road worse than the meth tweakers and nodding out heroin, addicts and drunk drivers. That’s what scares me,. What scares me is the completely uncoordinated, dead sober nerd.

Locally, we have a man who was driving drunk and hit a 10 year old girl driving her bicycle. From what I understand, she was thrown into the ditch and the bike got caught on his car and he dragged it for over a kilometre. She passed away (horrifically, it likely was not instant), and he just drove home. When he was initially questioned, he tried saying it was his girlfriend that was driving and they hit a deer. His story then changed to he was driving, and again, he “thought he hit a deer” (remember, he drug the bike under his car for over a kilometre). He also reported being sober when drinking, but as he went home immediately after, he said he ‘drank a few beer’ upon getting home to ‘relax’, so when he was questioned after by police, he had an explanation for his high BAC. His family is wealthy with good connections and he is presently a free man. He was found not guilty two years ago and after the provincial court of appeal overturned that, recently underwent a new trial with decisions set to be released May 17th of this year. The driver is Colin Tweedie, feel free to look up the details because this is one of the most infuriating cases I’ve heard of.
@@moshunit96 just read a few other articles for terminology. He was found not guilty two years ago without a jury (I believe), but the provincial Court of Appeal overturned that decision and ordered a new trial which is what’s ongoing now! Editing to change the wording, thank you!
Just this last sunday, a friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver. The 19 year old drunk driver survived, mild injuries. Friend was killed on impact.
Jeff Trimble, a good man and co-worker. That girl could have just waited to become sober, and that day would have been like any other boring day, and that would have been great.
Crazy thing is most of them don't care or supports them stealing and stuff. I studied for 2 years in Ireland. Over there parents dont get punished for their kid, then kid dont get punished cuz of young age. I saw parents defending their kid that killed and raped someone
I had a cousin like this. Their side of the family was super rich and would bail him any time he got in trouble. Speeding (including in school zones), drunk driving and other DUIs, reckless driving, distracted driving, etc. Literally just imagine the most annoying and irresponsible person you've ever seen on the road. They would laugh and joke about all the crimes he's committed as if it were just like "oh you. you're so goofy!! classic ben!", even when talking about crimes that endangered human lives. After he did get a criminal record (hit someone with his car) and might have actually had some repercussions for his actions, they just hired him in their own business because nepotism is great.
In Poland there was recently changed a law, now instead of just punishing you for driving drunk, they take away your car too, and if you borrowed it, you have to pay a full price of what it's worth This should be a law for other countries too.
Tbh, Poland is one of the strictest countries when it comes fo drunk driving. A very low limit, a lot of random checks and now the confiscation law. Which makes the fact that Poland holds the dubious record for the highest ever recorded BAC even more amazing. A Polish man got into an accident whole driving with a BAC of 1.48%. Which is about 4 times higher than what would be lethal for ordinary humans.
What is most upsetting is: In most cases, a drunk driver collides, kills an entire family or more, and survives. Or kills everyone that is with him. I heard so many cases of this instance.
Accidents often benefit from the lack of muscle tension alcohol intoxication offers. It makes you likely to cause accidents, and likely to survive. It’s literally the worst set up for the victims. Best set up for any sort of Antisocial Personality to ruin others with.

They won’t go to jail from this video alone. By the time police do anything for about this the “alcohol” will be out of their system. They can just claim it was water in the bottle and that it was a prank. The only way they get arrested is if they do this again and get caught in the act. Hopefully they don’t do this again….
They recently brought in a set of laws here in some Aussieland states that I reckon should get imported elsewhere -- they're called 'Post & Boast' laws. Essentially, if you break the law and then post it on social media showing off (specifically vehicle and break-&-enter style crimes), they can come down on you even harder than normal. It's a first-step effort to crack down on exactly this kind of public menace/public nuisance 'influencers'.
You shouldn’t even need a law if you’re dumb enough to post video/photos of yourself committing a crime it should be admissible as evidence it’s basically anything you say or do can be used against you in a court of law taken to the max. You’re basically doing the prosecutors job for them

It’s amazing how people can actually get away with this stuff, I was reading the comments and saw that a couple blokes experienced loss from drunk driving and the drivers were only charged under 5 years in prison - people get sentenced longer for parking tickets, the system is truly broken.
Cars are a BIG money maker for governments . They add all kinds of new toys and big screens that take drivers eyes off the road and people use their phones to text . The more toys the more tax revenue . Ontario is raising the speed limits from100k to 110k and that will help the stoners and drunks react faster ? And vehicles will burn more gas which bring in more carbon taxes for governments . Do you really think the governments care about lives lost on our roads ? NOT !

God, I'm seeing so many comments about how they lost a loved one to a drunk driver and the driver only gets like five years. It's ridiculous, we need to be taking a harder stance on this shit. Like sure, "they didn't mean to kill anyone" but they did mean to get drunk, they knew they can't drive drunk, so they should have planned for that. You take a life, you should at least get fifteen years, and you should never be allowed to drive again.
My aunt and two of her friends were killed by a drunk driver at 16 years old on thanksgiving, before I was even born. Her grief looms over my family and I constantly wish I couldve met her
Same happened with my uncle, he was just going home from a party but got hit, my mom never even got to say goodbye before he went to the party, i will always hate drunk drivers for all the people that have lost their life because of them
My brother was killed in a drunk driving accident when I was 15. He was 10 years older than me and was someone I looked up to a lot. He was riding back from work on his motorcycle and was run off the road into a tree by a drunk driver speeding and changing lanes without looking. I never got to see his body but I was told his heart instantly stopped from the collision with the tree. The cops found the guy who ran him off the road a couple years later and charged him with negligent driving and man slaughter since they couldn’t prove he was drunk. He got 58 months in federal prison. That’s under 5 years. For killing my brother from driving drunk. People like this make me sick and angry

I was in a car crash when I was 10 (I'm 32 now) and had to be the only *physically* unharmed person in my family of 4 and our family dog. In order from least to most *physically* injured it goes my dad who just got knocked out and a small cut in his nose, he was driving. My sister had a window explode into her side (she was only 13 at the time), had a seat belt burn across her stomach and body, whiplash, and was knocked unconscious. My mom had her right knee shattered, her back broken in 4 places, her right arm/wrist shattered, including her pinky being nearly sheered off and only a string of skin keeping it hanging on. Her skull skin on the right side was peeled back to nearly the back of her head and her skull was broken open enough to see part of her brain. She had a shattered kidney (yes, I meant shattered, that's the term they used) and a whole litany of other internal injuries. She survived this (a true miracle and I'm not even religious, but it's truly miraculous. Truly, they even saved her pinky. It just doesn't work like a finger anymore). I was unharmed *PHYSICALLY* and didn't even get knocked out but witnessed this all at the age of 10. And of course, our family dog died. This was at 10AM on Easter morning as we drove to our family friend's place to celebrate the holiday and do an egg hunt. I have suffered from intense mental health issues from this since, including schizophrenia, DID, depression, CPTSD, anxiety, OCD, and suicidal thoughts. The man who hit us (he was ejected from his vehicle as he had no seat belt and was physically unharmed aside from cuts cause he landed in some black berry bushes) when they pulled him from the bushes, had a blood alcohol level of .34. WHEN THEY TESTED HIM OVER AN HOUR LATER. He was also on so much coke that he was physically able to be moving around and behind a wheel at all. On Easter morning. At 10 AM. Drunk drivers, people like the people in this video, and people who drive under the influence so severely... They deserve to just flip their car and finish with all their living. If that upsets you, tell that to the kid who watched her mom's head get cracked open, her brain exposed to the air. Her heart stopped on the road and they were only able to get it started again in the helicopter ride to the hospital. I didn't know this until much later. Tell that to the 10 year old, THE FOURTH GRADER, who has suffered for a majority of her life cause of some horrible selfish evil piece of shit who cared so little for others he nearly killed an entire family of 4 and their dog. And it's a miracle only our dog died. Remember that shite, I hope it's burned into your brain so you never fuckin think about going behind the wheel drunk, and definitely don't sit here defending it.
@@SkepticalJedi Thank you for your kind words of support. It's been 22 years and I'm much better mentally, despite the journey to getting here being crazy at times. My mom still feels pain everyday but is know as Saint Amy by everyone who knows her, and has returned to full mental functioning. My dad became a physically abusive alcoholic who drinks and drives constantly. I had to cut ties with him unfortunately. My sister is now a mother with 3 kids and more on the way so, we're all in different spots but doing better than what that crash left us in. I didn't mention this but the dog who died did so taking a piece of debris that would've punctured my mom's heart. He died saving her life essentially. There's a ton of things that happened that day that I can't explain so... Yeah, it's definitely a miracle and I am grateful for everyday I wake up housed, fed, with my loving boyfriend, and our beautiful fur babies.
Wow, that's horrible. For everyone involved. I can't help but think maybe you would've been better off getting knocked unconscious & sustaining injuries over the mental trauma. That aside, I hope you all can better come to terms with what happened & continue healing through it all.

I once was driving down to Florida, back in 2019, when I was stopped in front of a huge, horrifying wreck. A drunk semi-truck driver had collided through the divider on the road, and collided with a van full of people from a churchgroup, on their way to Disneyworld. Five kids, two adults, just gone. It was a horrible tragedy. I was checking on more information on what had happened for the next few days, when I had saw the headline, though this time, it was in Michigan. This family was on their way BACK from Disney. Family of five. On their way back. Drunk semi-truck driver in the opposite lane, going through the divider. All gone. I still think about it sometimes. And the part that sticks with me, is thinking, "well, they probably had heard about the first accident, I'd think. And they must have been thinking 'Thank god, that wasn't us.' "
It is kind of unsettling that filming yourself committing crimes is more often seen as content farming by these guys and not documenting evidence for your court case
Even if they get arrested (when the law enforcement may/can do their job), the only crime(s) they get changed for is reckless driving and littering. I drove drunk one time and hit a license check but kept my cool and got through it. I was underage and scared shitless. took that as my sign to never do that shit again. I tell my husband to always pack a charger because if both of us drink I'm locking the keys in the toolbox until tomorrow.
@@lesterparker1594 It was extremely careless to be willing to do that, but it's also great that you're completely aware of that and never did it again- better a lesson learned than continual failure. Still, shouldn't have done that. But you already know that.
A kid in my neighborhood crashed his mustang doing this... and then bragged an hour later about his mom already replacing the car and doing it again. You know. Where children are playing in the street. I rarely wish bad on people but reckless drivers make me think things that go against community standards.
People who drive recklessly need to find an empty parking lot or a race track. Doing it on public roads where you risk hurting innocent commuters is always wild
I actually remember a similar situation like this that happened in my neighborhood back when I was a freshman in high school. The guy was speeding around the neighborhood when i was walking home from the bus stop. Damn bastard nearly hit me at one point so I flipped him off and called my stepdad to come pick me up. I got home safe after he picked me up and I think the guy speeding around the neighborhood was arrested and had his car impounded. Dunno who that guy thought he was impressing, most people in that neighborhood were either kids or elderly people
I feel you man. I can't imagine. A girl i went to highschool with drunk drove and killed 3 sisters. She changed name and school and tried to re invent herself... im sad to say she succeeded
I remember a movie where the guy died from a car crash and got upload the internet, but that isn’t the thing I’m talking about. The cars they had were all automated and had cameras all throughout the vehicle. Starting to think we might have to start making those cars for these types of people.
My mom's best friend in her 20s was killed by her brother driving drunk. There was a total of three people in the car counting him and his sister and he killed everyone in the vehicle. I haven't had the heart to ever ask if he hit another car but since she has never mentioned it I am going to hope that he hit a wall or something. The mother of her best friend lost both of her kids in one night. It's been at least 25 years and my mom still texts her friend's mom every year on the anniversary of their deaths to check in with her. Drunk driving is devastating and I almost lost my friend to her own stupid actions driving drunk (thank god she was pulled over). I hope one day it isn't something so common place here in the USA (and anywhere else that faces it as such a huge issue).
@@judadon707 bro nearly your entire 300 video channel is made up of kick clips of n3on of all people 😭😭😭 how can people like this exist please get a better streamer to follow or go do something else for your own sake 🙏 I feel bad just thinking about you lol
It’s this kind of behavior that killed my cousin. She was like a sister to me and now she’s gone because a grown man couldn’t behave and decided to act like a toddler and it claimed the life of a kind woman who was just looking out for a close friend
