Thrustmaster T818 Review (with T-LCM Pedals) 

Man, other companies jumping on the Fanatec controversy quick lol. I suppose this IS the best time to try and gain market share with all the hate Fanatec is getting.

Great video and new sub here! Just recently got into the world of sim racing and did A TON of research before getting my first wheel! I am no where on your level but I went with the Thrustmaster t300 rs gt and absolutely love it! My goal is to eventually get the one that you have the t818 !!!! Great video and review! 👍👍

Play with he springs and force needed for 100% in the TLCM SW to what you like, then practice, you get used to it. It is a big change from potentiometer

No matter what I will never switch to Thrustmaster personally, their gear looks outdated since release, their DD has tons of inconveniences. Thrustmaster really has to step up if they even want to compete with Fanatec

I had it and really loved it. I was on Ps5 and wanted to go to Direct Drive...so with pain in my heart I decide to go from Thrustmaster to Fanatec. I went to the DD Pro and now I did sell it and bought the Clubsport DD Plus and waiting for it...but, the SF1000 stays in my heart 😅

The Loadcell is a matter of getting used to really. Idk if you drive a car IRL but it's closer to that. It's just like when you try a wheel for the first time compared to a controller (if you played for a long time). Using a wheel might seem odd and then you get used to it. As you mentioned if you spent many more hours you would get used to it. I never used TLCMs though, I had CSV.3s from Fanatec

T300rs Sf1000 Fanatec CSL with the spring mod. I love this rim.

As a Ferrari f1 fan, I am sold just on the looks. Obviously price is stopping me from getting it 😂

I have this sf100 wheel and otters on the tgt-2 and just waiting to upgrade to direct drive.

any pedals with all metal constructioon will be better than T-LCM pedals, because of the plastic parts of it, it has a little play in the plastic.

I'll would buy a t818 now if it had console compatibility 😢😢😢😢😢 how long do we wait thrustmaster?????

The problem is that its only pc the base, i was really disappointed as a console player to see this since I already have the TLCM pedals and SF1000 wheel

After having my t300 for a long while and their pedals, gear shift and multible wheels....and are already in their ecosystem...i would not buy the T818. It is too expensive, still in its core use the old QR and I just are not happy with the quality of their existing wheels that I want to keep them when buying a expensive base. Here in sweden I can buy a moza r9 + their cs v2 wheel for about the same money as just the t818...and then I would HAVE to use my old rims. I see nothing really wrong with the t818 but nothing that would want me to get it over another option.

Don't get the TLCM's if youre on PC. There is no reason to get them. Had them for over a year and they're not great. Upgraded to Simjack pro for less money and they're in another league, and dont creak or snap with force.

Thrustmaster is pure manure. Overpriced junk and ridiculous customer support. The only good thing are the tlcm pedals, once you mod it and get rid of the springs. I had to pass through 3 T300 bases and two Sf1000 wheels. As I said customer support completely useless, if you have an issue they will require to do dumb tests before to open an RMA, all made with the intent to go forward with the warranty dates and to make you tires and at the end, like me, you give up and throw everything in the trash can. Neve again in my life.

lol..your joking right, it has the worst FFB on any base in any price range.. Get serious mate Asetek or Simucube the rest are just pretenders This base is a absolute piece of Chinese junk, anyone reading this DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
