Superman busts into the Batcave trying to throw Bruce around and it's working right up until Alfred surprises him with a full-on double-barrel slug to the back of the head. He proceeds to pop a "temporary superpowers" pill and then kick the complete shit out of Superman, allowing Bats to escape. It's a contender for one of the most completely hype moments in comic book history, honestly, because Alfred handles it all with such chill poise and grace even when he's literally headbutting Superman in the nose.

I remember in the comics bruce found out Alfred hid a bunch of guns all over wayne manor. When asked Alfred said don't bother trying to find them. Cause not even he'd be able to.
I also remember one time in the comics when Superman broke into Wayne Manor and was about to kill Bruce Alfred literally beat Superman down to the ground picked up Bruce and walked off and then when the Superman came back for Revenge Alfred called him a spoiled brat and told him to see himself out he wasn't even phased at the fact that Superman was going to kill him
@@DrWolfensteinz it was the Injustice storyline and yes he did take a pill to give him superpowers but just the fact that Alfred did that without hesitation shows you how much of a badass he is

And don't forget in the comics Alfred went Toe to Toe with Superman and beat his ass and even shot a fucking yautja with a blunderbuss shotgun to save Bruce

I really liked this scene and it's great characterization for Alfred. I was kinda expecting the scene to go typical superhero flick and have Bat-girl swoop down to protect Alfred and Kane but I was surprised that they played it straight and have the criminal get super nervous and beat feet after getting stared down by two battle hardened men who have probably seen more guns shoved in their faces than the small-time criminal's puny little mind can imagine.
In Gotham 2 well dressed old men in a bad hood just starting at you with the "fuck around & find out" after you point a gun at them usually means they are rich, and likely a crime boss. He was lucky it wasn't Falcone or the penguin. They would have killed his family as a warning and make him watch.
Thomas and Martha (that’s right I said that name) Wayne would still be alive if Alfred was with them and Bruce. Imagine how things would have been if Thomas was Batman, Martha was bat woman, and Bruce was Robin. Alfred would just go out as Alfred. They could have been a triumphant trio.
It's like every comment here said: Batman is going to send you to hospital. Alfred is going to send you to afterlife. And believe me, the first one is going to beat you as fast as he can. the latter one will make sure you feel every damn second before you wake up in the other world.
Points gun at the old helpless butler, he leans forward with the determination of former SAS. Thinks he has a better chance of shooting the old man right next to him, that old man doesn't flinch and is the commander of his own militia and has a family of soldiers and killers.

You can practically read this dude's thoughts. "Oh damn, these guys didn't even flinch. They're not even looking at the gun. They're gonna kick my ass aren't they?"
Reminds me of that Dos Equis commercial: the Most Interesting Man in the World on self defense: "The right look should suffice". The right look sufficed.
For the youngsters who don't know their backgrounds beyond the games, Alfred was formerly MI6 and SAS. Basically, James Bond without the martinis and double the badassery. Col. Kane was a former US Army Special Ops Officer. This young punk just targeted two of the men who justify the old expression about fearing the old man in a profession that kills men when they are young.
To be fair, this is Gotham, even with no clue of Alfred, that criminal is probably imagining that they are another fucked up group that Batman sparred with with how ready they were to tango.
Alfred was fully prepared to kill someone, and that is too funny. Batman has morales simply because he cant control himself, but alfred hes been in wars he has the self control.
Alfred is former British SAS. He's practically been in many conflicts and gunfights ranging from Africa to the Middle East. Alfred has killed many men with guns, knives, and his barehands in his prime and was probably carrying a .45 handgun.
