Open passing (blue/slow advanced) group. Decided at the last minute to sign up for this interesting east and west day because I really miss the west track and the weather wasn't bad. Despite the tame weather, I still hit the cooling limit of the car at ~75F ambient. When we put in the upgraded heat exchanger and rads, I'll probably still have to do a cooldown lap every ~7-8 mins or something.
I'm not entirely sure why, but I was being reckless with some of the passing. Maybe I was just excited for open passing, or maybe I'm just an idiot (likely). Fortunately the other drivers were aware and were able to adapt. I really need to get my head straight and make better decisions before something really bad happens.
I only did the first east session to warm myself up, get a feel for the tires, and assess my mental. I determined that I won't beat my 2'02 without going all out, so I decided to just stick to west where I know I can get a PB without trying too hard. Fortunately I did go faster, but I really need to clean up some of my lines and stop overslowing a bunch of corners. I'll get a 1'26 soon...
