Thursday - "Magnets Caught In A Metal Heart" 

All time favorite band. Spent many hours on the road seeing these guys. 22 shows. Randomly found them playing in a coffee shop in 2001 and that was it.

I like how each of their albums have a different feel and sound while still having that amazing, one-of-a-kind Thursday feel and sound. Sometimes I wonder what they would've done visually if they'd made a video for any song on 'Waiting'. Either way this video's great! Also, has anyone else noticed how they have some of the same (for lack of a better word) 'themes' in their songs (for example: trains, counting down from 5 to 1, cities on fire, cars/driving, etc.)? Damn, these guys are talented!

really fits the song's atmosphere, great idea for the mv. 'no devolución', i guess this album really does live up to its name. same 'old' thursday, 'new' sound. i still love them.

RIP Thursday. So glad I got to see them right after this album came out in NC right before they broke up. Talked to Geoff Rickly for a little while, super cool dude. It was kinda sad though because it was raining and it was an outdoor Vans skate show event that featured a few bands for free and it was in the parking lot at this mall in Concord NC and most of the crowd had already left and their equipment was fucking up and the stage was really small and it was just a shit kinda day but they still gave it their all and I'm glad I got to see them at least once.

I didn't even know they had a new album out until I saw them last week, best ****ing show I ever saw, and Geoff was sick! literally and still out did everyone band I've seen. Saw them play this and from the end of the show till now I still can't stop listening to this song, and thinking about how great it is. Best band Ever!!!

Normally when a band releases a few albums and becomes pretty popular within this genre of music . I begin to dislike it, not sure why maybe because im english. This album is still as good as every one they have ever released thursday just never cease to amaze me. brilliant just brilliant.

@Ismashguitars111 i see where ur comin from. i guess hat i always liked about them is that they had that fresh, youthful, passionate sound. now its more, "mature" y'know what i mean? its not as heavy and emotional and angsty. from the sounds of the interviews it seems like people like it. i guess its a matter of preference. i cant be the only one who misses their youthful angst.

@mricardo96 you cant compare RHCP & Thursday, they're both great but completely different and appeal to different audiences. RHCP has mass appeal.Their songs are very 60ish, beatlish & classic rock influenced. Thursday started as a basement punk band and has grown and developed over the years and have been tagged with all kinda labels like post hardcore, screamo whatevs.Its all music & it appeals to different people.But dont go say a band isnt good when you arnt righting a song or an album.

@iwantayob There's a huge mismatch between what they sound like and what they look like. It's chicks that make bands popular, and they usually like the band to look attractive -- doesn't mean that's all they care about, they do feel the music but it's like a huge bonus if a band looks energetic and confident. I know what I'm saying, I'm a musician and I'm starting to produce some stuff and I just realize that's the way it goes.

@Ismashguitars111 my ears are all the confirmation i need. whats cynical about it? they used to be a straight up good rock band, and now they think a bunch of synths and effects are cool. and they've adopted a completely new style. i understand they really wanted to try somthing different to suprise people, but why mess with a masterpeice? they were already good. all this U2 bullshit is lame, and you know it. dont jump to their defense just cus you like them. they are not infallible.
