● Tidehunter's Tactics is the first video I made with Source Filmmaker.
As a fan of Dota 2 I wanted to bring a little more life to its world.
This short clip is about two of my favorite characters, Kunkka and Tidehunter, because I like the way they hate/love one another.
I hope this short will be the first in a long series. Please support me, thumb up and share this video ! Thank you.

Hey guys A little sad announcement, here's the situation: I love making Dota 2 shorts but you must understand that it takes a lot of time, when I say a lot of time I mean more than a full month of work. Because my IRL job is already keeping me busy most of the day, my free time is very limited, In another words, I can't continue doing Dota 2 shorts right now… I am not giving up though! When I’ll have free time again, (this year I am pretty sure) I’ll continue to work on episode 2. Thanks for your support, keep on posting, sharing and thumbs up.

I do have to say, the entire Episode was done beautifully. I think the cockyness of Kunkka was the biggest highlight of the video, it made me laugh so hard. XD And the opening scene with Tidehunter, that too was amazing. There was just so much amazing in this video, I hope you can keep finding the time to make these; you got some serious talent worth appreciating.

ignore the assholes edje. Any real animator knows that its not easy to do and these trolls probably don't even know the difference between IK and FK limb rigs. Or what rigs even are. Literally every 3D animator can learn from something from another animator. Keep doing what you're doing man. I'm actually curious now, do you have any schooling in animation or are you self taught?

This. This is what I've been waiting for. Quality animation, amazing use of facial expressions without any of the silly over-the-top SFM faces that amatuer animators fall back to. Can't wait to see more! Would love to know how you worked the dota models into SFM with great facial rigs. I don't have much experience with SFM and studied with maya only.

I just enjoy seeing Kunkka and Tidehunter together since it works out for an interesting and usually humorous dynamic. Anyway for this animation, the quality of the visual scenes and the animation were solid. The story flowed well with great funny situations and good transition flow. For a first SFM video, this is just amazing since the editing is so well done and the lighthearted storytelling was executed very nicely.
