@@Christian_svedin I have some flavors preamps (cocoa and chili), 1 lava preamp, FET Compresor, VCA Comp and 2 icicle EQs 🤗. I started with the preamp, loved the warm and sweet sound (the finished is just great), then I realized they know how to make good gear… 2nd got the FET COMP and i just loved it… then VCA Comp… sounds very good and the EQS are very musical and the parallel saturation circuit they call Oomps add a very interesting character to the drums… today they are in all my mixes… I’m preparing reviews for some of the products I have in my RU-vid channel. Any doubt here I am. Best regards and you are a reference for me :). I enjoy a lot your reviews 🤟🏽

@@wilsantanaproductor haha nice! They should endorse you 😁 I wouldn't mind trying more from them. I do feel that both the flavours and the Twenties mic is a bit niche but fun, but it would be cool to try out their HW. Maybe some day! Cheers

@@Christian_svedin oh yes they are niche products. The flavours are good for those who want to add some specific character and gain to mics or instruments. For example, cocoa match great for me with my AKG c414, also good to add extra body to basses... It add some body and warmth sound to a bright mic. It turns it into a different sounding mic. Flavours are like the first step before getting very serious buying an external pro preamp (in my opinion). Jijiji we have a good relationship. Very friendly people. I remember I sent an email the first time we spoke asking for the preamp and the next day Javier (CEO) calls me to advice me. And when I decided to go for the EQs I spoke with the guy who makes them and explained to me how they are made, how the Oomp circuit works, etc… very friendly people. Once again good review! @@Christian_svedin awesome. Listen, Beesneez has just released a new BU67, with an internal switch to model 269. Be very insightful if you could get on to Ben and setup a side by side comparison with your 269. Just an idea I personally would benefit from. I'm on the fence with the BU67, I would want it to be a vocal mic but to me it is a bit undersized for a a vocal mic, aesthetically I think larger vocal mics instill greater confidence even if a bit less convenient to put on a stand. I mean, I use latch lake stands for vocals but some inferior stands might struggle to hold a large microphone but it's an argument I can't defend. So often a proper stand is under estimated. Ya know?

Thanks! No I don't think I will have the chance either I'm afraid. It sounds nice but is quite niche. Maybe it would be cool on drums since the proximity build up is a bit higher up, say 400hz :)

GA8000 for sure! I thought the New twenties was an interesting microphone but a bit of a niche product. Good build quality but quite coloured sound

@@ryanlynch505 yeah quite close. I'd say if you want super modern, clean go with the GAP. If you want modern but with a touch of vibe go with the Reds 👍
