Hey Chris! As a father of two little wild ones and having a small YT channel for years, growing like a tree in a desert, I know the place from which you are talking. Unfortunately it doesn't surprise me the way things are for you as this is just a matter of normal distribution where you offer super high quality content about super high quality stuff. The thickness of the bell curve cannot resonate to that as their focus is on "other stuff", to be mild. But maybe it means something to you that those guys who have been blessed and cursed with being shifted a standard deviation or two or three to the right more than appreciate your content which is unique and so well executed by such a charismatic man. At this moment we collectively perform our deepest bow to you and you just keep spiraling out!

Just keep going. Your skills are great, and so is your channel. Your channel will grow organically but it takes eating your subscriber list up to where it can hit a critical mass. Once it does that the rate of expansion is faster and faster. Please keep going.

Hi Christian, Your assessment is totally understandable. A channel has to be viable and the time consumption manageable. There is a growing number of content creators quitting. Hello Christian its been so nice to discover and follow you on your youtube Channel. I cant understand that this kind of quality content does not get more Viewers . This channel has been unique because your a musician demoing gear - and lots of times I forgot to listen to the gear because i was so taken by the music - your performance. So im glad that you will keep on doing videoes with your music.
Really appreciate everything you’ve done so far. The best Gear review videos there are on RU-vid and you also include the raw files which makes a huge difference. Probably just a very niche market or maybe the Video will find their way over time. Wish you all the best

I dont get either why there hasn't been more traction with this channel. It's been nothing but top notch knowledge from day one We love you though Christian, don't give up even if you end up trying other types of content
I enjoy your even-keeled, measured approach to review gear, but, I completely understand this decision. Making, playing and creating music is the whole point. Look forward to the more music-centric approach.
Also, since you are such a great musician, if you released some songs of popular covers and then did a quick very quick tour of how you Recorded the song and gear you used you could attract gearheads, as well as music fans. There are tons of people out there doing covers they don’t have 1/10 of your talent.
I like gear as much as the next guy, but the main reason for coming here was the great voice. So im happy to hear you are going to continue with music. And im sure once in a while a mic review will pop up, it is in your blood you can not help it 😃
Wise decision, good decision, mature decision. You found out of the hole of gear testing, which can be interesting for a while but can also distract from the original musical direction and goals, once one has sufficient gear.
I mean it's given me allot. I've been pushing myself, practicing so it's not a lost cause. It's just to much work. Of course the new stuff will take allot of time too but hopefully I'll be enjoying it a bit more.
