Why are people in the comments are making such a big deal about his voice being annoying? That's just the way his voice is. Steve Backshall is a great animal expert. So, please treat him with respect.

That shark was sleepy. They seem to know that the bait was not going to swim away.

I know. I saw it when my younger sister was watching television. But still... you can portray your passion and interest about this beautifull animal without stating "She's like a swimming bus"or "I reckon she could swallow him in one go" :)

After 3:00 when they swim away and the smaller one just hides under the female's body... Kind of cute.

That’s a remora, not a shark. Don’t worry it’s a common mistake, they like to be around sharks to pick up leftovers and parasites.

Do I also 'tear apart' my meal when I eat chicken nuggets? C'mon they're just feeding not hunting.

Who or what was that one fish underneath the tiger shark's stomach and why?
@josecolon2717
@josecolon2717 2 года назад
That’s a Remora, they are commonly found around sharks and use a suction cup on their head to stick to them. They clean the shark of parasites in exchange for a free ride and leftovers

Aren't tiger sharks like super aggressive and almost as dangerous to humans as white sharks? Swimming with lemon or reef sharks is something I'd like to do some day but these guys would seriously freak me out
@josecolon2717
@josecolon2717 2 года назад
They are over hyped, like all sharks. Honestly while I wouldn’t recommend swimming with one unless your trained I would still not worry too much about a bite

This guy’s presentation is awful. I think BBC Earth should aspire to be above the quality of what’s happened to the National Geographic Channel. This narration does not belong alongside other videos on this channel.
