Tiger welding hood thoughts 

when the hood drops hey buddy, I just bought a black on on a welding supply website and it just came. I wanted to ask you how well this holds up. I worry that it’ll loosen up over some time and it’ll start letting light leak in. Thanks!

​@@Mikey-ym6ok just the side headgear hardware will fail over time with use and abuse, but they stand up to the toughest use.

That hood and pipelines use the same headgear .... my tiger hood cracked so I cut the lense box off then put its lense box on my pipeliner hood so my pipeliner now has a flip front.

Will Becker was it easy to do? I’ve wondered if it’s as easy as it sounds

@@noesmartin19 it was but i highly advise using high heat silicone and pop rivits with a tiger hoods lense box if you cant get the selstrom

You can, but the thicker ones will need modification. You will need to sand down or cut out that slit on the flip front to be bigger.
