It's all a matter of complexion. If hockey players fight its fine and expected. If NBA or NFL pplayers fight they are thugs and banned. If Tom Brady is yelling and cursing on the sidelines, its motivation. If a black player does it he needs better home training. This is America it is always a matter of complexion.

Sean Whitaker no it’s not it feels like the weight of the world and it feels like you have no options, especially when your young. You watch other people live normal lives and feel the chasm between you. It’s an isolating feeling which never leaves even when you make peace with it. When you interact with others you feel how different you are and it makes you feel alone in a crowded room. If you win people simply expect it when you lose they act like your finished. From the perspective of suffering not knowing what your going to become is not in my estimations any less brutal, simply different. It hurts knowing you can’t ever connect with people because they just can’t see what you see and when you try to show them they take it as a slight because nobody enjoys being told they are doing something in an inferior way. You just learn to bite your tounge when you can and when something slips out, you learn to accept that people have no ability to value what you have. Yes’ it’s better but not because it’s nice it’s better because you have the chance to simplify your life and focus on what’s real. It’s unclear tiger got there but perhaps now that he’s older he’s found himself in golf and isn’t chasing drama out of dissatisfaction. Who knows. A simple life with few concerns and a focus which fulfills you, there isn’t anything more to life all else simply passes into memory and having past it will all fade to nothing.

what truly makes a global talent is not their talent but their raising. Tiger Woods, started playing golf at just 2 years old.. his father pushed him 4-6 hours every day, skipped classes, did everything he could consistently to endorse his skill set and build it up. Lebron James, started at 4 years old with a basketball his step father would play with him from dusk to dark every night and when he became old enough, he practiced every other day for hours. Wayne Gretzky, started as a 5 year old with his father playing pond hockey and grew his skillset over repetition and consistency. Every and anyone that is great today is great because of consistency over time. By the time Woods, was 12 years old, he had around 15,000 hours more practice time than anyone else up to his age. Those hours matter greatly in skillset and that is how you develop as a professional. talent is built,

Loved the part at 4:39 about "being like Michael Jordan" ...he nailed it! It was fun to hear Tiger say he wanted to "Be like Mike", tons of kids in this generation had aspirations to be like MJ and he followed through, and dominated (and continues to dominate) the sport he loves.

While he is certainly in the Pantheon of great golfers, Moe Norman, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, and Jack Niclaus were damn good too. Tiger is awesome: IMO the greatest golf mind/manager of the course, golfing athlete, shot artist, putter, and golf competitor of all time, but Hogan, Snead, and Norman were all more consistent ball strikers so its tough.

You see he had too go through much as a kid and being black and mix as a child you hearing people tell you you don't belong here but through it all as a human being no matter what race mix or whatever he follow his dream and stuk with it believing in himself through it all .if that anit American I don't know what is because he didn't quit or back out with the hatred rehortic talk about him or his family he kept pushing too succeed and did he lost some he win some hurt .lost a lot of money but his love for golf will never go away in him the green welcome him back everytime he comes back to play it's like they or one and they are and once again he wins his fifth master.if that ain't American I don't know what is . he's a true and remarkable American golf player.and don't have a got dam thing too prove .he is tiger woods the lion roars again
