Tiger Woods mental strength is ridiculous. He won a US Open on a broken leg. To have FOUR back surgeries (that includes a spinal fusion) and come back and win a Masters like Tiger did is beyond amazing, no other athlete in history has done that. Just a year ago Tiger gets in a horrific car crash and almost had to have his leg amputated and he's back playing golf again.

Tiger Woods had a record of 55-4 when he held a share of the 54 hole lead which is a mind boggling figure. Terrible comparison since basketball is a team sport and golf is an individual sport. If a player goes cold he has teammates that can help burden some of the load, you can't do that in golf. Just like one player can play incredible and the team around them doesn't do enough to secure a win.

It's very tough to compare the two sports because one is individual vs team. But as an individual Tiger is without a doubt as clutch as a human can be. I know alot of people watching this don't watch golf but Tiger is the GOAT. I've never seen someone hit as many clutch putts and shots as him.

@@sliqvic To clarify, you compared the act of dunking to the difficulty of a sport. Basketball and soccer are the two most easily accessible sports in the world. Keep in mind that most people cannot dunk because most people are not 6'0 and can jump really high. However most people also cannot shoot under 80. And the funny thing about golf is that it does not automatically disqualify you if you are not genetically gifted. Anyone can play it, but even then most of the planet cannot shoot under 80. To take it further you might have never seen a basketball before in your life but if you told a 6'5 person to take the ball and dunk it they would figure it out in 5 seconds. Now go tell that person to hit a golf ball flush just one time. 🙄

Golf is a tougher sport than basketball. Many people can hoop to some degree, they just don’t have the physical gifts to make it to the NBA. Golf is the most unforgiving sport out there which is why it’s so hard to pick up. Make the slightest error in your swing and it ruins you.

@@tjdwayne2096 Thanks for trying to answer a question I guess only Sharpe himself could lol. The topic was about Woods and James, Sharpe decided to bring Jordan into it in a negative way as usual. The reason I mention those years is because James was favoured to win both of those playoffs series and failed big time. Jordan never had moments like this. Everytime he was favoured to win in the playoffs, he did.

Lebron James always needed superstars to help him and even then he would lose. I saw him quit at a reasonable deficit against the Spurs when a real champion would come in and save the day make up some excuse about being dehydrated. I saw him blame everyone on his team after a round 1 loss and get rid of them in spite of them winning him the "Asterix Bubble Championship" and look where we are now. So Lebron ain't clutch. But Tiger woods hasn't been clutch in years either, but Tiger Woods still tries no matter what and never gives up.

I'm not sure these guys are huge golf fans lol, but all im gonna say is that tiger was bigger in his sport than LeBron is in his, and LeBron is the face of basketball. Tiger in his prime was larger than life when it came to golf, he was viewed as unstoppable. Its also hard to compare a team sport to an individual sport. I feel like it's not even a fair comparison
