I think the mother is feeding the kidnapping allegations to distract the public from her actions.

The mom was clearly using the conspiracies as an opportunity to gain clout. People are really inclined to do anything for fame.

I had a leash back in the day (I'm 32 now) because I was a demon child who would get up to all sorts of nonsense. Once they had to shut an entire mall down because I wandered off somewhere and my parents thought I was abducted since there was a lot of that going on around the area (I was next to my mom one second and a split second later I was just gone). But mine was an wrist band thing that was fastened around my wrist, not a dog leash and collar like with this girl. That's some fet!sh stuff 😬 I'm totally against using kids as content in general though, I can't imagine how terrible that must be. Grew up with a camera shoved in my face and was a child model for 5 years and it really messed me up. So glad I didn't grow up in today's time because my mom would've for sure done something like this.

My mom back when I was young put a “kiddo leash” on me when we went to the store or the zoo. I think you can still get them, they’re like vests you put on your kids with a retractable leash you can clip on the back so your kids don’t go wondering off. I did that a lot as a kid and always gave my mom huge anxiety.

Ok, but like…. Pageants in general are a terrible idea. Really think about it… people enter a pageant for people to LITERALLY JUDGE their looks, personalities, and motives. What does that remind you of? THE INTERNET. and what are most people concerned about CHILDREN BEING ON? THE INTERNET. How are pageants any different? It’s okay for adults or older teens to enter pageants because they have mostly developed brains that can handle criticism. But a child? That will stick with them for the rest of their life! Why would you put a child through all of that torture? In my personal opinion, people can enter pageants if they want, but the whole concept of generally outdated and it just seems unnecessary. To me, pageants could be the root of many insecurities which is why it is especially bad for a child to enter one, considering all the insecurities children already face.

I honestly think it would have done the video good to show at least one photo of the little girl to show what we're really dealing with here. I Googled it and was completely floored. Its abusive. Coercion is illegal in some states, its more than frowned upon, it depends what their laws are. You can still get the police to do a welfare check, they are entitled to do so, its their duty- they can’t refuse unless you’re asking them to do it every minute of the day but other than that they have to respond to those requests.
