The video quality to subscriber count ratio doesn't make any sense! You should have at least at half a million in subs! Keep grinding!! You gonna get there

Didnt even notice youve only 418 subs, looks like a video from a huge channel. Not overproduced with dumb effects too, good work!

oh sweet a new upload from one of my favorite RU-vidrs! And about the vdeio topic since I watched until the end, yeah it is important to be careful with what we share online (especially if it's personal). We all have our own timeline to heal from what we go through, most certainly in the context of mental health and psychological well-being. It's something we need to understand as human beings. As a Gen-Z young adult, being emotionally intelligent is a double-edged sword of its own as like you mentioned, the pandemic f-ed up a crucial time of our lives and we're still recovering from it. It's not cringey/embarrassing to open up to people you trust but there is an appropriate place and time to do that. Not to mention that I really agree with what you said, that those who work under the Psychology professions are vulnerable to the stories of their clients/patients because they (the professionals) can fall into that void just like the people that they want to help. Overall I REALLY do not recommend dumping your trauma online as it can come back to you, even if you have fully healed from it. This isn't a solo battle you should be taking on in a multiplayer game.

And a comment from my favorite subscriber! Thank you for watching all the way through, I really appreciate it! As always I agree with everything you said, I think there's such a level of comfort with telling others about our trauma that it's bled into all aspects of sharing even to strangers. While it's great that mental health and expressing ourselves has become more widely accepted, it's important to not only protect ourselves but those around us who may not be ready to hear all we've experienced. We're all grown so I think we should be able to do what we want, how we want. I just hope people make sure they've protected themselves, while also thinking about how they may affect others before hitting publish or post. And that analogy you made of "multiplayer game" was absolutely perfect!

I don't like trauma dumping. Feels like a weird offshoot of the (mostly gen z) fixation on cultivation of a personal aesthetic and "brand." I like this video though!!! It's really well done and it has lots of research and is interesting 😊

That’s actually something I haven’t thought about as well! Beyond just seeing the popularity of others when you put out your trauma for all to see. I do believe a lot of it can be attributed to fitting an aesthetic. And thank you so much for the kind words, I’m Glad you enjoyed it!!

dumping your trauma to online people is a massive mistake as its a desperate search for fake validation

I think even scarier is that if people receive genuine validation from others, that can give a false sense of security and empower them to post even more. Then, if/when they do receive a negative comment, it’s incredibly demoralizing.

I'm not one to usually comment on YT videos, but when I noticed after watching that you're not some "major channel" with "a gazillion subscribers" I was simply flabbergasted! You're both informative, and super entertaining to watch! I'm definitely gonna subscribe. And hopefully that, plus leaving a comment and liking your video, will help more people find you thru the algorithm! Looking forward to watching more of your videos, and wishing you the best of luck!
