He is right, there are a lot of roaches in Texas and if your in an old house. It's very hard to get rid of them all. If your in an apartment its manageable to keep it controlled, unless your neighbor is breeding them. But old home esp those not build on a slab are very hard to keep them out without depending on your landscape.

He is right about the roaches in Texas. There's a LOT of wood roaches, and they are huge. We used to get them in our house all the time and my mom kept our house clean as fuck. They are different than the one's that come around in a dirty house though and they don't multiply like crazy you just see one every now and then
