@@jdubb6662 It doesn't matter if they fall, the fact he can do what he wants and gets the ball in the hole without theatrics means he's even better than the modern players. The fundamentals win every time.
That UTEP 2 step aka killer crossover is arguably the most lethal crossover in NBA history. So simple, yet so complicated to perfect. Glad Tim is finally getting into the HOF.
I agree. I've said that for years it's the most effective crossover that I've ever seen. He always goes towards the hoop like you're supposed to, no wasted movements or dribbling and not going anywhere.
Hardaway gave league fits dope handle; amazing finisher; fierce competor and wet jumper. His game was as complete as I have seen. Hooper name; hot sneakers. As kids we loved Hardaway
Tim Hardaway was NOT just the KILLER CROSSOVER but also...one of the BEST LAY-UP CREATORS OF ALL TIME. Very uniue lay-ups. Hope he is inducted to the HOF.
The degree of difficulty to score in the past is what makes some of these guys the all time greats. And the best thing about that legendary crossover is his head fake and how quickly he turns his body. The defender has no chance.
"The newer generation has better skilled players" "Players back then just weren't as good as they are today" Ladies and gentlemen, before Kyrie Irving and Allen Iverson, there was Tim Hardaway. Certainly one of the most underrated players in NBA history! #killercrossover
He was the first to pull up 3s off the bounce. He and Larry Bird were the 1st people ive ever seen do stepback jumpers but tim is the 1st to do combo moves into a stepback. Hes the 1st ive ever seen have counters combos to his initial move. Dude was waaaay ahead of his time! Could shoot, pass and was a true floor general and would cook your favorite player and your goat!
Whilst everyone in the 90's were talking about Gary Payton, John Stockton and Penny, Tim Hardaway was crossing people up and getting to the rim! Forget Steph Curry, TIM HARDAWAY put Golden State on the map!
Man I loved the Warriors “Run TMC”, “Spree for 3” & Don Nelson. When we got CWeb I thought we were going run everyone off the court. Then Webber ruined BB for me and I couldn’t watch it anymore. I missed Curry’s rise because of it.
Didn't know he could dunk! And, he was even doing his thing on Harper...Plus, Iverson's looked like carrying to me, but not Tim's and TH was one of the very best at it!
