“One more shot at glory” track is a masterpiece and the video is excellent. I like the way they reference the old songs. KK’s Priest keeping classic traditional metal alive.
The Amazon delivery guy has literally just handed me my copy of The Sinner Rides Again. Will listen to it tomorrow in the car. Seeing them on Sunday. 👍 It's some line up...
If you ask me KKs Priest sounds more like Judas Priest than Judas Priest does KKs writing is so evident its ridiculous! Love both albums keep em coming and hope to see you guys in Canada 🇨🇦
Ripper's one'a those guys where like, even if he was sitting there talking about photosynthesis or pen twirling or something, I could listen to him for hours just because his speaking voice sounds that cool lol
Definitely much better than the last few JP albums. A buddy said to me listening to the last album, "everything seems like it was recorded to the same tempo click track", and it is. Its extremely cookie cutter. While KKs may have some of that formula too, this is just way better.
Thanks for an awesome interview! This album is so much better than the first, which I did like. Tim's vocals are so much more musical on this album, since he uses his entire range. His personal style comes to the forefront. I can't wait for these guys to do a USA tour. This is probably going to be my favourite record this year. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I agree with you on Return To Death Row being among his best work. It's short but every single track is energetic and awesome. I hope him and Richard Christy get back together for another Charred Walls of the Damned album. Personally, Cold Winds on Timeless Days is probably my favorite album Ripper Owens is on overall.
I love what Tim has done with Iced Earth and especially KK’s Priest! So awesome. I like his short stint with Yngwie. However to say that the two albums he did with Judas Priest have “longevity” I find ridiculous. His legacy will be everything post Judas Priest.
@@les-ti6lo Stu is great especially Live In Ancient Kourion. I’m just saying I like Tim in Iced Earth too and what he did there I like better than his time in JP. I never said I liked Tim over Stu. I just think Tim really came into his own with Iced Earth not Priest
I do not agree with Tim that Screaming and Defenders are same albums..they are surely similar style but the sound is different and honestly to me just dont sound the same. Both are great in similar and at the same time different way..:-)
I'm glad to see you've lost a lot of weight and hear your vocal performance improved a great deal but please stop doing that irritating waoooooooo scream on almost every song on The Sinner Rides Again. 11:43 There's absolutely no need to deny the obvious.
The first side of "The Sinner Rides Again" would make it album of the year but the second side is genius level. Such a shame that it has a huge flirtatiion goiing on with the Devil. We live in the most evil times in history. People should be careful that they don't lose their souls.
I don't know... Defenders is my favourite Judas Priest album of all time... possibly because of the emotional connection I have wit hit. But I do agree that it is quite different to Screaming for Vengeance
Didn’t like him in priest, or the music on those albums. With kk’s priest he sounds great, not having to sing for legend band and eventually following the metal god halford
