Trucks are asked to do a lot of jobs. Tow, carry weight and still have a comfortable ride. A lot of truck owners also level their vehicles. Timbren Suspension Enhancement System will help your vehicle carry loads and help you keep your pickup level and handle well while doing payload duty or towing.

Great detailed explanation. Lot of rain in Canada. 30 years ago I went to Vancouver and Victoria. It was very beautiful in August and so was the Butchart gardens. They gave us complementary umbrellas for the rain.

Ya it's raining a bit more than usual. Summer is typically clear skies. Oh well, trying to make the best of things.

Thanks for the video. I will be installing a set of Timbren SES on my Tacoma 2WD as the front wheels feel really light when towing a camper. Based on your long term experience, I will be replacing the steel hardware with stainless steel washers and bolts, and use anti-seize like you did. That should take care of most of the rust problems with the stock hardware. Daniel

I have something similar on my truck and it makes a big difference when loaded. It was better than any helper spring I have used.

Are you using Sumo Springs?

@@AnthonyJ350 it is actually a Monroe Muscle Elastomer spring. I don't think they make them anymore.

Thanks for the vid' . Helps getting pysched for the installation. Have placed an order for both front'n back kits thru a listed local vendor with the lowest pricept ' :-) GMFK35C GMRCK25 for 96 Sierra k1500 Probably biggest challenge will be stripping out the dead airlift kit assembly that a earlier owner had installed, then onto the Timbren solution. ;-)

It's called the "Carolina Squat" ...I used helper springs on a 1976 Toyota Corona Station Wagon...The best way to install is to insure the helper springs do not engage unless carrying a heavy load...Otherwise they will affect your normal ride quality...

Yup, that's why we only added one spacer and had just over an inch of clearance before engagement. We did show loaded and unloaded in the video.

Great video. I'm definetely going to grab a pair of these. Do you know if they can include different spacers for lifted trucks?
@AnthonyJ350
@AnthonyJ350 4 года назад
I would email them for your application and give them measurements from the bump stop mount to the axle.
@mattleonard5268
@mattleonard5268 Месяц назад
Timbren unfortunately does not make their off-road active bumpstops for gmt800 or gmt900 trucks
@AnthonyJ350
@AnthonyJ350 Месяц назад
You'll just have to use the SES maybe at a higher setting so they don't engage right away?

Great video. Its hard to find videos like this in such detail. I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 4x4 Z71 with an add a leaf and the stock 2in block. RC leveling kit in the front, slight stance with 33x12.50 Falken Wildpeaks A/T3w. I live where I drive lots on bumpy roads and have really bad axle hop and wrap. Especially with a loaded trailer. I was wondering if you could give me any advice or suggestions to stop the wrap and hop, ride quality and capacity in back. I'm also thinking of going down to a 1in block because I have quite the rack unloaded.

How do you like that rear diff cover?
@AnthonyJ350

The T/A diff girdle has been great. Had it on the truck for over 10 years, the Eaton G80 never had any issues. There's a Yukon Gear and Axle LSD in the truck now.
