Looks to me it could be something like a European version of what we have here in Australia called Aussie Racing Cars. Basiclly an over size go-cart with a motorcycle engine and tubular frame chassis with a composite body resembling real cars. Im sure each country has their own take take on the concept but here is some more info of the Australian version if i can link it.:) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aussie_Racing_Cars
