@@jennifernjambi4618 Jenny, just so you know. In my country people are seen & respected as equal & that means (in most csses) a married couple who both work, equally both provide in monetary ways. Both feel it's right to do so & is healthy for ones own self esteem & wellbeing. This is considered progress from 60+ years ago, when indeed it was the man who (generally) solely provided in a marriage. Think about it & I've visited Kenya to know, do you want progress of a healthy & wealthy developed European country, or Kenya to remain the country it is?

In my case grew up knowing and seeing my grandfather providing for the family.my grandmother have never worked. Biblicaly i have never come across averse that says its 50/50. awoman gives birth and feel the pain and aman sweats Will working hard. Man providing for the family have never stoped them from having many wives. The problem in africa is corruption and greedy leader that why we are abit poor than european country.

@@jennifernjambi4618 Hi Jenny, yes I completely understand & that's how it was 60+ years ago in many countries, including mine...but things have changed, thinking has changed for the better & mutual respect has grown from it. These days, the any self respecting woman 'WANTS' & needs to pay her way on her own or in a relationship. My wife & all my friends wives do this, it gives them self worth & independence. Sure, we treat eachother on occasions & then that's seen as special & out of love. My countries government is also corrupt, most are...but it's what's inside the individuals that counts. I know for certain that women who pay their way & don't rely on their man, feel much much better about themselves, their self worth increases & their self worth & respect is high. Such women here are desired & respected by men, yet any women who is known to take take take...is kept well away from. Yes the two countries are a world apart, but human beings are human beings & so it's up to us to change if we want better, want to improve. Hand on heart, if you have the means to pay, how does it feel when you don't? When you always allow your man to pay?
