Hi Everyone!
I really felt like painting, so that's today's video and I hope you like it! The art piece of today is a skyline of mountaintops dropping into a forest, all done in blues and greys.
I did spray some gold spray paint in there, but decided basically immediately that that was a mistake and blended it out completely into the mountains.
I tried to keep the textures simple. I used mainly soft, horizontal strokes (for the most part) for the mountains, brush stipples for the leafy treetops, and sponge work to blend the stormy sky.
I really love this piece, I think it's moody and relaxing to look at.
