AT5 gives creativity freehand and we have freedom to turn knobs and shape our own tone from scratch...Tonex is I feel is just collection of patches being shared by others 🎉🎉😊😊

I love Tonex for live sound! I’m so happy you made a video about it. There is so much to explore. As said in other comments, the advanced settings, but also finding the right cab. I think tou would have been much more comfortable with the previous interface where you could choose among a huge list of cab. Now, I feel like it’s easier to explore. You have to lock the cab or the amp and change the model to only change the one that wasn’t locked. It’s a bit tricky to discover how it works, but it feels more comfortable when you don’t know what you’re looking for! I have a bunch of troubles using it inside AT5. In my opinion, it’s pretty much because I’m looking for a good studio sound in AT5, when I’m looking for a huge live sound in Tonex. I hope you have fun with Tonex, your experience can make us learn a ton of things with this software! Thanks for that video, awesome as always. Can’t wait for the next one

I’ll try to learn it!! I’m gonna review a few more pieces in this plugin! So we can a have a bit of fun! I definitely Can not wait to see what the future holds for tones, within amplitube. I love the super detailed control that you can get! But the great sound is undeliverable!

Tonex is great! Buy or search for good captures. I use amalgam captures. Use the advanced settings in your advantage. It's post EQ so don't confuse it with an amp EQ. Depth and presence are your best friend for sculpting your sound further. The compressor in post is magic. It takes a while to fully understand the ecosystem and how it's reacting. It all begins with a good capture and I can tell you that there are a lot of bad captures on ToneNet. Capturing is an art in itself. Also experiment with proper gain staging. This unit is awesome

Lets talk about how the presets go to max when you're switching presets ! Show us a video of you switching presets and the volume levels of each one ! Then explain why you can blow your monitors because they set the default volume to 100% or higher ( in the RED ) ! Explain why they haven't addressed this in an update !

Put on Ace super stoner and devastation in Amplitube 5 or 5 max. See if you like what that does to a nice set of monitors. Make sure your guitar is 100% off and see how loud it is. It's ridiculous that they set the volume in the red.

I've got both and sometimes use TONEX within AT5. But usually I just use AT5, mainly with the JH Gold (=JTM 45) model.

@@Itsjorgelanzas get the new USB iRig model - cost me £49 new. The AT iPad CS is free, and the JH Gold is best obtained by buying the Hendrix pack (£24). I also wanted a univibe but if I remember this wasn't included so cost me an extra £3.99. So, for the cost of £80 and an old iPad and headphones, I'm rockin' !

Faster and less cpu intensive than AT5. Sounds really good as well. Waiting for the next Ik Multimedia sale.

Ok... Even the stock amps actually sound real. Some of the third party ones are insane. Remember they're not really very tweakable. That's why a lot of paid captures give you several amp settings b

They do react really well to different volumes and pedals and everything! With real amps a lot of times the best thing to do is find the amps sweet spot. Then use pedals... Volume.... And effects. It's good that there's no room sound You can add your own ambience afterwards

Im not very impressed. I had a similar experience with GuitarRig few years ago. Feel like every amp had a similar sort of high end across the board. No matter what the amp/preset was. Feel like amplitube did a better job of actually reproducing the original amp tone and character. But that's just me. Great vid btw 🥳✌️

Yeah. I find the sounds really great, but the limited adjustability feels a little limiting, for my use case anyway! Amplitube is still KING! I hope they model all these new Gen of amps!! I want the ODS in amplitube 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for your nice comment my friend! I appreciate you!! 🙏🏼🫶🏻🫶🏻
