Really enjoy your videos. I'm 62 and starting to farm again after 20 years. Long story, no one cares but Me. It's kinda like my Therapy. Your attitude and sense of humor are Awesome! Please keep the videos coming. God Bless 👍🇺🇸🚜😺
Just bought my first tractor today, 1975 MF 165… Not necessarily for farming but for yard , woods & pasture cleanup & dirt work but after seeing this - I might have to try to farm a small section of land. Love some fresh veggies. And thoroughly enjoyed your commentary.
Don't feel bad about your old equipment. One things for sure, at least your trying to get the job done. New equipment equals new problems that are more expensive to fix.
Why would anyone want brand new, technology pack with GPS? Liking old school, small field sowing, we still use our 511 International 24 row seeder in our small fields instead of 40ft airseeder with 9380 Steiger.
thank you! I got that tractor pretty straight several years ago, just painted it and keep it under a roof 😉. the Ford is just my everyday 150. been a good truck!
Great channel, I have a 165 that I am fully restoring currently and plan on planting winter wheat up here in Canada to kick off my growing career (just bought the farm)… Curious, what size front tire are you running on your 165? Mine are 6.5 and I want to go with something wider like you’ve done. Thanks again for the great content.
Good for you! Starting off farming can be exciting and nerve racking, good luck with your journey. Those are 11L-15’s on that. Keeps her floating on top of about anything I come across!
The 180 is slighter larger. The other major difference is the 180 is a platform tractor, and the 165 is a utility, meaning it has the transmission and levers between your feet and not on the dash
