Thanks so much, appreciate it. The customer wanted a standard style street tracker and the dual shocks helped in that look. These custom YSS units are fully adjustable for hi/lo speed compression, rebound and pre-load so no loss in performance whatsoever. Cheers!

Hi Jim, we had a hell of a time with the wiring for this very reason. Even spoke with the president of Motogadget - the short answer is you need to keep the stock gauges on these newer models. What I did was take apart the gauge so I just had the motherboard in hand and it's hidden in the tail section now. Motogadget used to make a breakout box for the Triumphs but due to poor sales they discontinued it, my thought is they should revisit that position since more and more customs are being built on this platform. @@origin8or Thanks for the reply, Yes all the research I've been doing keeps bringing me back to the same conclusion. Though it is good to hear that stripping the oem dash to it's mother board works because I considered this a possible expensive risk.

Never did weigh it but I'd suspect 100lbs under stock at least.

Unfortunately we didn’t weigh it, but the wheels alone shave 20lbs and the swingarm and frame are also lighter than original so that gives some idea. Cheers!

Hey, as in the description it took a year for me. I work a day job so that's a lot of eve's and week-ends LOL.

This was my first time attempting to film an entire build. As you can see by some of the still images I didn't manage to get everything on video but I am currently working on a new bike and will be turning it into a series rather than a timelapse which will show everything I do along the way. And that was the point, dare to be different but keep all the performance!! There are those who like stock, and those that prefer custom. For the proper tracker look a single sided swingarm doesn't cut it - keeping with the triples dual headlight styling we opted for smaller units that work with the numberplate. Thanks for checking it out.

All geometry on this bike is set to the same as the stock Speed Triple, headstock angle, rake, trail, wheelbase - same. Essentially the same bike but way lighter. Wheelie monster 😀

@@californiapoontappa These are top-line YSS units custom made for my build and feature hi and low speed compression dampening, rebound adjustment and preload and were sprung to the owners weight. Impossible to not get the perfect ride. Love 'em.

@@origin8or sounds rad I was only asking because I own a 2022 and the bike is damn near perfect how it is set up so I was curious as to if there were improvements to the finished product. How much does the bike weigh now and how much weight was shed?

@@californiapoontappa that 2022 must be a weapon for sure, this is a 2008 but still healthy. Biggest change came in ride position with low tank and wide bars - tracker style. Not sure of final weight but I'd say we've easily lost 100lbs on this build from a stock bike.
