Hilarious!!! It's like Google was watching me just now and suggested this video for me! 😜🤣😬🤦🏻‍♀️ It's about midnight right now and I heard something outside and jumped up only to find about 10 cows trying to knock my solar mason jar lanterns off the grill and they destroyed the badminton net that I just put up for the kids a few days ago! 😱 This big longhorn just about took down my clothesline as I opened the door and scared them off! But this longhorn is a stubborn one...the rest scattered off but he stood there staring me down for a good 5 minutes! Kind of scary fella and dang him!!? Grr...need fence up asap! I actually rolled it out and laid the posts on it where I want them earlier today and now I must get them up right away but it just won't stop raining long enough to do it this week! 😬

Good job y'all. I was born and raised on a farm and have built many miles of fence in every kind of terrain imaginable. The last farm I had was 211 acres in very rough terrain and we fenced and cross fenced the whole thing. I'm not easily impressed and have seen some nightmare fencing jobs but you did a great job. 👍

I mean, I don't think any fence is going to keep someone out if there's nobody there - but ours has kept cows and predators out which was the main goal. It was actually cheaper to go this route that most: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qfgauAC2ytc.html

I applaud you for your hard work. All fences have to be maintained...Electric fences can be tricky, as I am sure you've researched out. Up here in Rural New York, the weeds would always grow up and short out the fence, or ground it out. What a pain, troubleshooting and keeping the vegetation away from the fence. I wish you much success, "Cut it back, cut it all BACK!"
@TinyShinyHome
@TinyShinyHome 3 года назад
Yeah. There’s not much vegetation here so it’s real easy to maintain. It’s not for everyone but it’s working great here.

Well done guys, you're moving along nicely and holding it together, sanity wise😉. Btw is the name Timeless posts a trademark name or a generalised name for the design in the fencing world? Also, Ashley, did I hear you saying "maths" and not math? You don't sound Irish or English, maybe Canadian . I grew up in Ireland where maths was always used and then I moved to the states where math sounded way easier and easier to say. But anyhow it's inspiring to see you all pulling together and getting things moving👊
@TinyShinyHome
@TinyShinyHome 4 года назад
Haha thanks :) Yes, it's technically called the "Timeless Fence System™" We're both from here in the states, and just used "maths" as a joke. Sometimes we add "s" to the end of things that shouldn't be 😂. Anyhow, thanks so much! We are hoping to get the electric hooked up this weekend so then we'll officially officially be finished. Huge step!
@JohnODonovan1
@JohnODonovan1 4 года назад
@@TinyShinyHome I like to think outside of the box and I was wondering if you or anyone else really needs the electric part. I mean, you have the function that a fence provides against allowing any creature to breach the compound. So what I'm asking myself is , do I really need the electric, and does the added effort pay off. Or is the point of it , to prevent cattle from trampling it to the ground Is that a thing? Whatever the case , you have taken a further step towards having skills which can potentially make a source of income for you or who knows, maybe the kids will start a fencing company in years to be.
@TinyShinyHome
@TinyShinyHome 4 года назад
@@JohnODonovan1 The high tensile by itself will keep out the cows, but small predators like coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, wild pigs, etc..., could easily slip through without electrification. That's why the lower 3 strands are so close together. We will have animals at some point in the near future and need to protect them. Honestly, running high tensile is easier and cheaper than barbed wire, and it really doesn't cost that much more to electrify it it's a win/win all around.
