They did the right thing, but that monster forced them to end her life and they won't feel like heroes, they will only remember the horrible situation that she caused and have to now deal with ending her life. They did not take immediate action. They were warned ahead of time by the shooters friend, who the shooter very literally texted what they were going to do to. Instead, the police told the shooters friend to send the warning to the "non emergency line". The police responded 5 hours later. Those kids should be alive, but instead the police said the warning was better delivered to the non emergency line. This is why you don't hire jews to do or touch anything in your business.

I was just thinking the exact same thing. There is absolutely no excuse for the Cowards that dare to call themselves Police Officers in other States that just sit outside and wait for the children in the school to be slaughtered like animals before going in! Kudos to this department for doing what they have sworn to do. This is a horrific tragedy that will impact these children/families for the rest of their lives. At least in this Community, they know that their Police Departments have their back and actually care about their citizens!

Those poor officers will never be the same, after experience such a horrific sight!

For those advocating armed teachers, maybe you should advance your argument by having only people who are willing to be armed go into the teaching field. If that's what it would take to prevent school shootings, why don't you body go ahead and have that passed into law? After all, we have police officers who go into the profession knowing that they they would have to use deadly force in order to protect themselves and others. Or maybe we can build school with high perimeter walls with controlled entries manned by heavily armed officers and well armed teachers on the inside.

I understand that's where the US is at now, but reading that suggestion is beyond dystopian. On what planet should a school need armed security?! I agree they need it, but I just cannot believe we're at this point in time where going to school is a possible death sentence, and that schools need armed security to protect children just trying to learn. A very sad time we live in, things NEED to change.

When there is an active shooter, there isn't enough time to call out SWAT. SWAT takes time, in these situations there is no time to make a plan. There is only the immediate action by officers responding to confront the individual and eliminate the threat.

What I find profoundly obscene how sales skyrocket for certain guns following mowing down of school kids. That and the suggestion that anything remotely close to sensible gun regulations is the slippery slope of the government knocking at your door to take your gun are really an admission that our guns are more precious than the lives of our children. How long must we continue to sacrifice the bullet riddled bodies of our children on the altar of goddess Second Amendment in the hope of warding off the specter of tyranny? Are nations like Britain, Japan or Canada worse off than us because they don't have strong gun cultures? For one thing we don't hear of frequent mass shootings followed by 'thoughts and prayers' from politicians?

Exactly 💯STR8FACTS She had on red & white vans in officers body cam footage and black and white shoes on surveillance footage... this whole thing is a false flag hoax that is staged, planned and scripted to take the 2nd amendment rights away and for gun control, there's no blood and the pic of her on floor looks like CGI and the officers ran right to her without fear knowing she was heavily armed & dangerous and the officer with rifle shoots her 3 times and stands there without any fear and the other officer with handgun walks by him casually and shoots her 4 more times while on the floor and the footage of 2 officers body cam were released instantly but what about the other officers involved and if u watch the surveillance footage the shooter acts like she's posing and acting for the surveillance cameras and the whole date and numbers and all adds up to alot of fishy shit. , 3 kids age 9 and 3 adults ages 61 , 61 ,60, and that's alot of 666 , this seems like a ritualistic sacrifice type shit and the whole numbers game is very telling if u know u know...
