I’ve had one of these for 5 years or so. It’s actually weathered great over the years. The dings and scraps revel the brass case underneath which I feel aids the Field Watch aesthetic, even tho some may say it as cheap ;)
I just got this watch and I love how utilitarian the watch looks and feels. But it instantly looked rugged and military-like when I replaced the leather strap with a NATO brown or khaki strap~
Indi-glow. Didn’t last long on my non-chrono Expedition field watch, but that excellent watch is still on the original battery after many years. I like the strap on this one.
just so you know you have to buy a watch strap pretty quick because this one is paper filled… They hide this with some rubbery goo on the sides of the strap that will smudge after a couple months and then it will delaminate… It really gets me how much effort they put into ripping people off it would've been easier just to give us real leather watch strap… But no
after the indiglo and the lume on the hands - not so great the lume fades after just a few minutes, the date changes right at 12 o'clock, its a rough watch, i cut wood with it constantly for the wood furnace in the basement and its held up this first winter since i got it, i won't be wearing it to work when the painting season begins, it'll stay in the truck until the end of the day

I just bought one of these recently I’ve had it for 48 hours, the second hand constantly stops moving randomly not really sure why. I think it could be battery just curious your thoughts
I saw another review of this watch and I thought the 3 o'clock dial was for tenths of an hour. Great, I thought; I'm a lawyer and could use a chronograph for tracking billable units (which are six minutes, or one tenth of an hour). Then I looked up the instruction manual, and it turns out it's for tenths of a SECOND :-( What a pity! But what a lost opportunity for watch designers. I'm sure many lawyers, accountants and others at the billable grindstone would be just the idiots to spend too much on a chronograph with a special "billable units" complication. Has anyone ever done this before? On second thoughts, I could just put my miniature painting skills to use and just paint a "lawyer's dial" over the minutes-to-hours dial.
