I'm Laurens nan. I cannot tell you her story on here but believe me she has been to hell and back. She is such a strong young lady. She has known her young man since she was 14. He has been her saviour along with all her family. Since the filming all 3 if these ladies has lost a considerable amount of weight. Thank you all for the positive feedback it means the world to us as a family. X

Lauren was eventually married yesterday. She looked amazing. Thank you for helping her find the most perfect dress.

Screw those people you are beautiful either way those scars are part of you that shows how strong you are and that you are warrior and you been through hell and back yet you are still here. I have been watching Jone and her partner on RU-vid since I got tired of Klienfields say yes to the dress. Not that its nit a fun show but it lacks depth. But this britsh show has it all. I'm litterly obsessed with the way they help each and every bride come to there full potential. They have such giving and kind hearts. They are like the fairy God mothers where they are needed the most. And this episode just made me tear up the most. Truely heartfelt and magical. I prey for this girls full recovery.

Oh my gosh, she's so stunning! It's horrible she actually has no idea she's so beautiful, her eyes are so mesmerizing, her sister is beautiful too.

I remember being the girl who would wear long sleeved jumpers during Australian summers just to hide my wrists and arms. It didn't matter if it was 20°C or 45°C, you can bet I was wearing long sleeves. I get so emotional when I see other people becoming comfortable in their own skin. It's so hard to love who you are and show your scars when you've been hiding them for years.

I would go to her wedding and fight anyone who dared to bring up her scars at HER OWN WEDDING. It takes so much courage to wear something without sleeves when you have scars like that, and this bride rocks her dress, scars and all.

I was a little worried to come to the comment section, but I am so pleasantly surprised at all of the kind & supportive comments! I think this bride is beautiful & should celebrate who she is, not apologize for it! I also have scars all over my arms, not from self-injurious behavior, but from Lupus. I used to try to hide my scars, until my youngest son told me that my scars should remind me that my past is real. Wow I can’t stop crying !! She looks so beautiful , her face totally changes when she smiles . My son has gone through lots of mental health problems and spent several years as a teenager cutting his arms , legs , ankles , you name it . He seems to be turning a corner finally age 17, after several years. It is truly amazing to see someone come out of this and find confidence and happiness . Good luck for the future x❤️

I've have had close personal experience with a similar situation and I feel qualified to say hiding those scars and trying to deal with everything on your own, in secret only makes it worse. There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of and if people tell you otherwise don't take it to heart because they are not thinking deeply enough. They are thinking at a superficial level which is of no use to anyone.
