Wooooow Timothée’s responses were very clever, I’m impressed of how smart he is. He has a brilliant future as an actor ahead, I’m very sure.

Why is bisexuality such a difficult concept to grasp for people when it's the second most popular sexuality after heterosexuality? This movie (and the book) is one of the least subtle bisexual films/books out there, yet people are still like "Oh but are they gay or no?"
@melisebayraktar1997

omg thank you couldn't agree more idk why it's so hard for people to grasp bisexuality is a very real very valid sexuality

Yeah...it would be great if these interviewers would stop assuming what peoples sexualities are. Also, whoever did their makeup should be fired.

Exactly, one of the great things about the movie is that it isn’t about “being gay” it’s just love, however it comes

What Armie said about systematic sexism in Hollywood (and basically everywhere) literally made me so happy, and I’m very happy that the interviewer also touched on the fact that Timmy is doing a movie with Woody Allen. It’s an important topic that needs to be brought up with every actor/actress that has worked in his movies or supported him, after those allegations.

Did Christiane Amanpour, with all the respect I have for her, just discover BISEXUALITY? COME ON, IT'S 2018 PEOPLE.

This felt so tense. There was definitely a anxiety I felt when this interview started. It felt like a intervention of some sort. Maybe it was the lighting or lack of chemistry but I definitely felt some tension

I absolutely love the movie and the style it was made in. These kinds of movies make everything feel so real and pure.

By far the best interview with the both of them - serious and honest. Amanpour still in a class of her own.

Wow bless her for asking about the Woody Allen thing. I respect Timmy and his decisions and even though he didn't really comment on it (yet) I'm glad he's at least acknowledged it and kind of hinted that he'll talk about it later

Allons y are you kidding????the question, was a "gotcha" question, that she never should have asked. ..the story, has been out and public, for 25 years,as well as the story (true), that Woody took nude photos of his teenage stepdaughter, that he later, married...it has NEVER stopped, scores of A-list actors, from acting in his movies or studios, putting up the big $$ to make them..there has never been a picket line,warning young actors (Tim and Selina) don't do it or you will pay for it...I seariously doubt, that they had even heard those stories, that have been out of the press for ever...question, all the older stars and studios, that worked for Woodie,for the past 25 years, why they didn't put him out of business 25 years ago.. a question for you,..have you watched a Woody Allan, movie, in the last last 25years????

Why is it they have to capitalize the movie by saying it's a GAY ROMANCE movie.....first off....the main characters...are both bisexual...and plus we don't label other romances STRAIGHT movies...Hell We dont even call The Shape of Water INTERSPECIES ROMANCE........if theres one thing to call this movie...and that it's a piece of art celebrating the powers and universality of love.
@th8470

Why are they bisexual? Why do you have to label everything?
@maia9985
@maia9985 6 лет назад
T H because bisexual means being sexually attracted to both males and females, which we can see they both are in this film (or on the brink of discovering their own sexuality, whether that be bisexuality or being gay or pan, etc)

Interviewers usually brand actors as straight which can make awkward reactions in their conversation. They shouldn’t do that since love do not define genders. Besides, how we are sure that men or women are always straight in both physics and soul.
@testruelove2530
@testruelove2530 6 лет назад
long duong EXACTLY!!!..as if your closeted or non binary ...that you would just say it...all a person would do is agree so they can move on with the questions !..that s not the hardest challenge an actor would have ..I mean I know it will be awkward but..it would be awkward who ever you'll do a sexs scene or love scene with period ,making it believebale that's the challenge! This two did it!! The chemistry is amazing it's freakin electric..

You're wrong..a lot of her homophobic questions, were "gotcha, shock value questions..I wish one of them replied "are you living in the 1990s???? What rock have you been living under???put her in her place, then walked off stage...it's 2018...we don't have to put up with that crap....

Why does the journalist think Armmie is from a different generation? lol. He's also a millennial. Millennials were born between 1980-1995.

maybe because he looks older than his age. We tend to conflate anyone young under 30 as Millennial even though that time still goes on.

Timmy seems very exhausted... or sad. After watching his interviews idk if it seems like this to anyone else but it almost seems like Timmy does NOT want to be famous in a traditional way? Like he definitely appreciates the recognition he’s receiving but he definitely seems more lowkey about his popularity... does anyone get what I mean?

I know this is a later reply but I think he just wants to be great, as far as his acting goes. And of course he wants to be regarded as great, which entails awards and notions etc, because that is the path actors he grew up admiring have walked. I think he's also very much still finding himself, but he's still very authentic to who he is? I think he is unaware of how authentic and genuine and sweet he comes across to others and he wants to be liked. He's definitely humbled to be around those in Hollywood, I think he's really excited but I believe he's also dipping his toes in and realizing that there's a darker side to it (controversy, public backlash, fan obsession/stalkers, academy award shows biases etc) and he's learning how to become a public figure while at the same time growing as a person.

Everyone, has some bi-sexual in them, even if its latent or fully repressed, and only 1%! Well ok, maybe 3-5%! Very few people are 50/50 bi-sexual anyway. I have a friend who says he's 11% gay or homosexual, and 89% straight, heterosexual. So he's essentially or predominantly "straight". I'm kinda the opposite of that. Anyway, is there no interview of these two guys which asks them about their own bi-sexual feelings, or experiences?!! Again, it's so frustrating that no interviewer seems to get these two guys speaking of such, of their ever having had any gay, queer, homoerotic (or homoromantic!) feelings or experiences, before, during, or since the making of this film!!! Sheesh.

You have to understand that popularity is very difficult for the people in older age so for him is even more difficult to control all this fame..and one more thing..
