Crazy that the original T2 still holds up against the newer T2. Mine still going well for 6 years of daily use, dropped here and there, and even accidentally caught in washing machine (& had to clean the detergent off the inside with distilled water, thank God it's not a hybrid driver) and no issue whatsoever til now, definitely the most durable IEM I've ever owned. Was interested to bought a second T2 as backup but nobody sell the brand new OG anymore, only DLC. I guess I need to lower my standard and buy the second hand OG now.
Amazing video, Dave. I bough the DLC from another reviewer here in Brazil however I still hasn’t tested it. Thank you very much for your work, I usually don’t watch reviews from IEMs I plan to test, however your reviews are impossible to skip 😊.
@@TheHonestAudiophile I loved it. Very easy to drive through my dongles. It sounds very natural/neutral to me and never fatiguing. They are really comfortable also. Anyways thanks for the reviews and recommendations! 👍🐼
Oh..................well NOW you look older!!!🤭You have to wonder how many T2's (or whatever they want to call it) do we need? I'm a firm believer, if it ain't broke, leave it the heck alone. IMO, I think they've saturated the market with this series. Another good one, Dave.
Hey Dave! I've been struggling to find a replacement for the tin t3, the fit is just horrible for me though i really like the crystal clear sound signature, currently im using the tin t3+ kinda like their clear sound, what would you recommend as an upgrade for that crystal clear signature sound? thank you!
Hii. If I were to choose between t3 and t3 plus. What would you recommend? I need high detail, excellent sound separation and wide sound stage. T3 or T3 plus? Your recommendation will be appreciated.
@abominablearex6487 here's an old video of my T3 review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-46J1tijAHAw.htmlsi=HoXuNDVQJtZhhsbg Here's an old video of my T3 Plus review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a1aAeRv-9MU.htmlsi=zgiD6mcAepI3srA4 I don't find the T3 to be sibilant but it is a bit elevated so some who are sensitive to upper mids and treble may find it that way. Keep in mind my comparisons in the comments is off memory not direct comparison.
@@TheHonestAudiophile Goodness thank you so much for your replies and helping me out. Now t3 is like years old, if I were to buy the t3 today would you say I should, or you would recommend something else in the $50 range. I'm sorry I'm new to iems, so after a lot of research I found t3 and t3 plus. T3 going for $49 and t3 plus for $55 on AliExpress. I'm wondering if there are better options out there? Thanks alot again!
In that price range they are still pretty solid performers for being older. A new one that is another to consider, my review will be coming soon, is the Tin Hifi T2 mkii. The TruthEar x Crinacle Zero Red is another solid performer, here's a link to the review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8N_Ynj78F5o.html Here is a link to my ranking list, please read the ranking grade first so you understand how it works. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nRHnsP_4vLg9DlD9kwJ6gQuEQFqhTR0lnrkxXo3AMG8/edit?usp=sharing
T3 Plus bass is not as sub bass prominent but has similar mid and upper bass, mids are not as forward and aggressive, has more sparkle and energy in the treble, has little more detail retrieval and is better resolving, stage is wider, deeper and little more accurate imaging, tone and timbre is more natural and accurate. Overall, I would pick the T3 Plus over the T2 DLC.
Dunu S...?... Is agresive sound, con total falta de cuerpo en bajos y falta de subgraves. Sólo para algunas personas que no les molestan tonos medio altos, agresivos y una amplificación muy cálida....
Hi, I like your reviews. T2 DLC vs T3 Plus, what do you think is the best IEM?. Sorry for my bad english, I want to buy one of that 2 but I'm confused. Your videos are so cool. Greetings from Mexico
I would take the T3 Plus over the T2 DLC. The T3 Plus has a more accurate treble and better imaging and resolution capabilites. The T2 DLC has more bass impact. T3 Plus is a little more natural in tone and timbre.
