Ms. Fey is arguably the greatest or most influential comedian of the 21st century. She's made her mark in TV, film, books and theatre and made it all look effortless. You can see Letterman recognizing her gifts from the git-go.

My wife and I saw Tina at a Second City show in the late 90s. Scott Adsit and Rachel Dratch were also cast members then. (Btw, my wife was not the trouble-maker Tina talked about.) Scott & Rachel looked the same, but Tina had much shorter hair. Hilarious show. We laughed til our cheeks hurt. We didn’t know at the time how famous anyone would become, but it’s not surprising considering how good they were… I guess tomorrow’s stars are there now-maybe we should go back!

She is quite Stunning but , she would likely disagree. What is refreshing about her is, in comedy, she is a Big Deal. She never plays off that or has an Ego!

Is this Fey's first Letterman appearance? Dave says "Welcome to show.... ", and Fey mentions just getting married. Also... She had been head writer for 2 years, but Letterman was enquiring as if they hadn't spoken before (!) (?)... Can someone school me? First Letterman appearance?
