Everyone relapses with addictions unfortunately it's learning experience.. the ones never addicted will never understand. To anyone still suffering your not alone
@@jimpalmer4916 Because she _is_ beautiful. You called his comment weird, yet ironically enough, you’re the social reject weirdo who’ll die a virgin. What a pathetic loser ☝🏻
Your story is an inspiration. I have many family members that use and this is really nice to hear that some people can recover from drug addiction. Please continue you sobriety. I just happend to be clicking away on youtube and found your story. Keep you head up girl. Your a very strong & smart young lady. God Bless
I am proud of this girl. She is obviously very intelligent but addiction is not about intellect, it's about filling an emotional void. I hope she is okay.
In spite of all the idiot comments on this vid I would like to commend this young woman for sharing her story. It takes courage to talk about something so personal, and negative in your life. So many people try to hide their past, when sharing your story just might help somebody else. Thanks for sharing and may God help you stay clean! One day at a time and you have a great future. Stay Strong!
@ipb7883 She was raped when she was 12 years old, then in an effort to self-medicate her depression she got mixed up in drugs. 12-year-olds make mistakes, traumatized children make mistakes, and then they're hooked and your reaction is to feel contempt? In the end, she got clean, which must have been really tough to do. I've never used drugs but even I recognize it's ridiculously judgmental to look down on recovering addicts who got hooked at a really young age.
Thank you Tina for sharing your story. May Gods blessings be with you for the rest of your days. it takes a substantial amount of courage to tell your story due to the amount of shame that comes with that type of behavior..... LMH
in 3 years I have only met one person who even mentioned quiting meth. All of the people I talked to have been on it for 9 + years ( I have met a lot of people) and display no desire to quit any time soon. it's comforting to know that there are people who stop and move forward
I can't believe how many 'wannabe gangstas' there are here, trying to act like such badasses. Grow the hell up, and listen to this girl if you ever want to succeed in your lives. Drugs ruin lives... end of story.
i hope she's ok. I started using crystal when I was 21 and now I'm 28 and I hate it. it started as doing it every 2 or 3 months because I only did it with my sister then my sister got evicted and moved across the street from where I live now I do it every day I still sleep every night cuz I drink after I use the meth. ima dies eventually I'm sure uppers and downers are horrible to mix
for any of you who were not fully listening, she was asked how does a young girl make money, so she said babysitting. later on she became a thief to support her habit. multiply drug addiction by 10 years and you get a pretty hefty sum spent on drugs. and heroin (she became a heroin addict for those of you who did not even bother to hear that) is pretty damn expensive. don't hate on her, be glad that she is trying to help people.
Wow, what an open minded and great girl she is. She's overcome one of the worst diseases known to mankind, brought on by what I can gather by having a terrible upbringing. It may sound obvious but it's always the smart, intelligent people that manage to beat this illness. Here's wishing you the very best in the future from a fellow recovering addict. xx
Wow what an eloquent and beautiful woman, and lucky that she survived meth so well. She must have an incredibly strong body to be in such great health.
I live in San Joaquin county. Grew up here, moved back here after I got out of the army. Drugs are still very prevalent in our society. It's an almost-everyday thing here. I live in Lodi, which is like five miles from Stockton.
At least the public is becoming more aware of addiction and getting an education on it like they never have. Things are looking better. I've traveled around this country a couple of times; there is a problem with a large proportion of the population being addicted to something everywhere I have been; but at least now people are starting to understand addiction and it is being treated better.
What a beautiful, intelligent and articulate young woman. 1000 watt smile! I wish you the best in life Tina. Be strong and sober and you will achieve all of your goals.
Hey just watched this bigups to that chick for speaking.. that takes guts I think alot of people will find this helpful at the right time when they are willing to listen.. nice one
I am a meth user and 2 days ago I faced something unbelievable that can kind of describe the Devil Inside me. I can see him n was reaching inside of me. But I call 911 and came directly to me and followed by the ambulance. Thank u lord (:
"It's a disease"..how many times have I heard that. Gotta say, I think that's a crock of crap. Anyway, good on her for getting her shit together. Hope she can keep it up.
I think Tina would make a positive friend. Here experience makes me to better understand the bad effects of drug use. If you could make more videos of here that would be awesome.
I'm a non adict who has tried to help many addicts, never regret the fact that I have no way to relate to the suffering they go through. Tough enough just trying to be there for them. I hope she can continue to help other people and remain clean. Some people are traped in to this by pushers who lie to people and offer them drugs that are stronger then they claim. (hemp lazed with sometning stronger)
it is really sad...im with a beautiful girl for like...2 years..and she has been using meth.. freaked out on me for no reason at all andkicked me out 3 days ago...cause teh meth makes you HATE a person and act psychotic..man..alll i can think about is seeing her face..touching her hair..smelling her.sleeping alone sucks...it really sucks and it is sad...every trace of this drug should be eradicated from the face of the earth it is EVIl..it destroys families..relationships..souls..fucking EVIL.
As for social / casual drug use, I think it's irresponsible to fail to draw a distinction between what I (for lack of a better term) categorize as "hard" and "soft" drugs. Many people can use pot or alcohol socially without becoming dependent. Vanishingly few can do so with heroin or meth without becoming utterly dependent. Some drugs are just more addictive than others; some are so addictive, more than 99% of users would become addicts. It's about chemistry, not willpower. No shame in that.
I'm glad she's been clean for 6 months but she's still young and has a long way to go. I know people whose been clean for nearly 10yrs only to relapse. I bet she is struggling each and every day to stay afloat if in fact she's still clean.
that's pretty crazy, i dont know how people can keep that stuff up. it just goes to show how resistant the human body is, and how resourceful we could be.
personally i think she still might have a prob cause she seems to smile every time she recalls when she wsa on drugs so i think she might still be dabbling personally.. Remembering past expericences and smiling represents enjoying it so its a bad sign.. But hopefully shes not..all the best for the future anyways good luck
I left u a message, someone should leave an anonymous message to social services, you would do the little girl a favor, if she acts violent with you, can u imagine what could happen to that little girl with her and her friends being high and psycotic, what ever u do, don't do the drugs'
Am I the only one that thinks this girl looks like Angelina Jolie when she full on smiles? She's really pretty and reminds me of her. Good thing she got out of the drugs. She can probably help alot of people with her words. :)
@rooflee actually what i said is that i spent about that much on drugs over the entire time i was doing drugs. when i was younger i babysat and then after that i started working and then eventually just stealing. it wasn't all from babysitting, i only did that till i could get a job.
Pretty hot chicana. Straight respresenting modesto and stockton. Doesnt look like she used to smoke SHIT. . Thanks for sharing the story a keep ya head up
You should get in the habbit of teaching people how to say "sure I was a fuck up but it's part of my past". It takes strength to see that truth. It doesn't take much strength to say things like "misguided", "made you think", and "born into". We are all solely responsible for our own path in life.
@superxdee90 just fucking stay away. i just recovered from an addiction. first and biggest step is realizing that you got a problem and getting help.everything will work out fine from that on.
She didn't say that it was exclusively babysitting, she said that she did a lot of odd jobs, like mowing people's lawns and an allowance. Not only that but she stole. Soooo, getting $700,000 by odd jobs and stealing after so many years is definitely credible.
theres people that dont make that in a life time 700 grand ,,,thats not real ,,no disrrspect to her ,,,but if youre not honest about ur addiction ,then ur not genuinely trying to quiit and unfortunately she relapsed and overdosed passing away ...according to a comment from two years ago ..sad
