Yes, Herman Li reacted to her. He said it may be the best cover he has seen of their song. I HIGHLY recommend watching Herman react. Also.. Steve Vai gave her props for her "For The Love Of God" cover. Tina is so far beyond amazing as an artist its memorizing
Herman Li only reacted last year and was blown away. He said he knows who to call if he wants to take a day off. And Jason Becker had his community tweeted about the cover she made of his Altitudes
@@ericsicard910 Yeah, but he and the whole band saw it when it first came out. They even tried to invite to come out and play with them onstage, but for whatever reason [not explained], they count get a hold of her while in France on tour. Just Herman and co., weren’t doing reactions to videos back then.
It still has me in stitches when comments appear to this day from people saying she is okay but nothing special 😂😂😂😂😂Check out Herman Li's reaction. He was stunned!
@@PranabK-ih8qp She still plays - just stopped posting to RU-vid. Tina did start posting on her other social media accounts and has been advertising her new band, Spin Twice. They are releasing an album on September 1st.
Nonchalantly playing a fast piece like this, not looking half the time, and chewing gum at the same time, Heck, I can not walk and chew gum, plus Tina was only 15 when this was recorded. Like you said "Come back Tina" Also as others have noted Herman Li did a reaction to this about a year ago, I think he was more amazed than you were.
We are all in awe of Tina. What can you add or comment instead of just enjoying the virtuosity? And reality check for all those good-looking-half-naked girls trying to impress us on YT: get dressed and spend more time on your guitar than in your wardrobe. Tina forever and I would love her to play complete albums of classical music (doing what we never got from Jimi Hendrix, unfortunately).
The solo of the song lasts 2 min 4 s. This song features in the video game Guitar Hero III : Legends of Rock : it is considered one of the longest and most difficult songs to play due to the large number of notes (3,722 notes) and its high speed .
When you get the guy that pretty much wrote that part of the song to go and I quote "OH shit, OH f*ck and if I don't want to play this song anymore I know who to call" means you did it right
Yeah watched Tina play last year on RU-vid, I just couldn't believe it, she is insanely talented😲 wonder if Tommy J⚜️ has seen her play..mind blowing💥, thank you for playing this💗☮️🤙
That part you liked the pinch book book bopp she did sounds like a pac man sound was 1 of things Herman loved because he did it completely different and was using a downloaded effect they created. He was extremely impressed with her ways of doing solo. Also because she transitioned between Herman and Sam's part so easily.
There is a video of Hermal Li reacting to this, from one of his Twitch streams. Last year he and the other guitarist Sam did several streams of them writign songs in the style of other bands, just for fun. They did a Nightwish one,, Sabaton, and a few others. Definitely check out the Nightwish song.
Been following TinaS for a long time, she started having her sessions posted up when she was not even 8 years old and even then she was mastering classical guitar, then as she got older she started to post up her practice sessions, and doing the sweeps you see here, it was phenomenal, it really showed you how much work she had put into getting to where you see her in this video. Herman Li reviewed this and was quite impressed, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k6b_IyM42hc.html
you should really check out her cover of "For The Love Of God - Steve Vai" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nJi8iSpzq9I.html , its my favorite of hers, awesome 🙂
Thanks for your honest reaction, very cool. Her sweeps are very precize and up there with Petrucci, Vai and Malmseen. The thing with sweep-picking is that one has to have repcision with coordinating both hands, but itself it is not as difficult a technique as it is believed to be. (I have accidentally discovered sweep-picking independently, as my main area is flamenco guitar and we do similar technical things, yet not utilizing plectrums but use fingernails instead. I personally regard alzapua much harder than sweeping.) Legato technique is also not difficult at all and in general, praises for her not looking at the fingerboard, understandable as they are from non-players' perspective, but not looking at the fingerboard is not such a strange phenomenon, since guitar player goes through the stages if internalisation and after some time of development, larger and larger sequences are possible to be pulled off without looking, just by muscle memory and long repetition. I have been playing for many years and I can tell you, stuff that I have donje with eyes closed could blow one's mind, but it is not something special to me per se, as I find other things difficult, such as creative process, recording itself, editing videos - terra incognita for me. Using plectrum is for me a really difficult thing and I wonder if I ever be able to, since form decades I have been playing with my nails, duing rasguados, alzapuas, arpegios etc, using all 5 on the right hand and this comes naturally I can do them straight from the sleep. Anyway, Tina S touched my heart in a big way. Her rendition of Vai and Becker are especially masterful and full of apprent emotion that may somehow not be that visible in these ultra fast pieces.
brendan small of dethklok has a masterclass guitar section about sweeps, but it's animated, framed as Skwisgaar Skwiegelf "now you ams sweeps pickings"
She dont looking to the guitare. I wonder if she didn't start by training with the Vigier fretless guitar and this helped her to play so accurate. She said that when she wants to play a track, she train and play much again until she reach perfection.
You can react to Tina S Tornado of Soul by Megadeth, another masterpiece... Ah, do you know that here she is playing both part of Herman Li and Sam Totnam?
Hi! Herman Li have seen this. There are clips here on RU-vid. And he wanted her on his stream. 🙂 But I don't think she wants to. The internet is a hard place. Many idiots online, behind the keyboards. ☹️
There isn’t anything to say really. She is one of those virtuosos who can do something which the better you are at it the more impressive it is. It’s like watching Roger Federer hit tennis balls. Only his fellow pros can really appreciate what he does and she is the same…..
Herman Li, guitarist from DragonForce did a reaction during a livestream and I would love to see your reaction to it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k6b_IyM42hc.html Great reaction to a great artist. In my opinion, she's quite possibly the greatest guitar player at her age on any cover she's done. Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, and a few other greats come to mind and in comparison to young Tina, I'm sure they wish they were this good at her age. Please go through her play list and do a reaction to her videos. We'll definitely be looking out for that. Thank you for the video, reaction and comments. Stay safe and stay blessed. 😊❤️🤘🤘
hey bro there is the same song as a drum cover.. and there is a person who edited both videos together guitar and drum cover. if someone is reading this and you want to see it. write it please.. that's another level. Greetings from Northern Germany
@@michaelmueller9635 There is no need to make videos! Just look at her hair in front of the guitar and behind the guitar in the close-ups !! There is no connection !! Did you also see the blue clothespin attached to the cord of her headphones??
Not music inclined, but Herman said she compined parts because the tracks he sent to Harmoix "Rock Band " had both guitar parts on same track. Some one said she is "Mozart on guitar ". She is AMAZING, but she is doing a cover. To be Mozart; she needs to write the music. Don't get me wrong, I can only pick my nose. She is one of the best players but..... I would love to see her back.😪
Yeah. You're watching the guitar GOD from hell here! She's chewing gum while ripping off 3700+ notes in under 6 minutes and not missing a single one. Oh. She's 15 and yeah she's back with her newly created band. Now 25 years. She's playing backup to a lead vocalist. Please be patient she WILL get into ripping off her own riffs in time but you gotta realize she is a humble girl. Her appearance has changed but she's still cute. Herman Li did his own take on this and he too was blown away because she is actually playing TWO guitar's playback here not just Li's! Unlike Herman Tina is not a vocalist she just plays her heart out. I love Dragon Force's overall sound but Tina's band is doing a decent job considering this is their first work. Give her some time. Remember too that she may be a bit stage shy as she is NOT a showy type. All her covers are done in a studio setting under a guitar instructor (in one take) that I imagine at this juncture ain't teaching this girl anything she doesn't already know. I do not know if Tina speaks English but many French citizens are bi-lingual. At this juncture she does not give interviews to my knowledge however I'm not on social media's todo list either.
